Re: Rio 2016
I've got to confess that this is hard work, but someone has to do it!
Very impressive effort by the Boomers too. Maybe they could have pinched that if the officials were policing the knock ons and shepards, but them's the breaks with these international officials on board.

I've woken up to bronze and silver. Where's the gold Woodgers! (I might as well jump on the bandwagon.)

Cam McEvoy finishes seventh in the 50m semi final 2, well outside his best time this year. Misses the final.
Re: Rio 2016
McEvoy can go sit with Magnussen
Re: Rio 2016
Taylor McKeown finishes fifth in the women's 200m breast stroke final, after qualifying fastest.
Re: Rio 2016
Mitch Larkin in second on the final turn... gets the silver medal in the men's 200m backstroke.
He's a bit disappointed.

Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

I'll be coming off the back of my own footy season so basically an entire weekend and maybe Monday of drinking. I'm sure i'll be in fine form!
Last game against the Eels i'll bring the kids out. They've been asking about the Raiders and when I can take them along again so they must be craving hot chips...

Both Campbell sisters finish outside the medals!
Re: Rio 2016
The Campbell Sisters. How would their parents feel knowing that they spawned not one, but two losers?

The shame they must feel would be immeasurableDr Zaius wrote:The Campbell Sisters. How would their parents feel knowing that they spawned not one, but two losers?
There needs to be an investigation about this
Let's just start by throwing Woodgers and his pals in a gulag and figure the rest out from there

Re: Rio 2016
I reckon John Bertrand will conduct some investigation into the swim teams performance. The self implosions of the London Olympics have been replicated in Rio. So many Fina World Champ winners and World Record holders have not produced even close to their personal bests. If it was only one or two swimmers then it could be put down to 'out of form'. But so many ..Pigman wrote:There needs to be an investigation about this
