The "Top 5" is a massive cop out.

Scrape through to the quarters, cop a spanking and dust the hands with "Well we came equal 5th"

Ah Ch7, replaying women's soccer for the 3rd time while aussie shooter Dan Repacholi is supposedly competing live, Dan is a family friend so yeah I'd like to watch him compete.

Boomers leading USA 54-49
No idea what quarter as the live scores I'm looking at doesn't show it

They are looking good too!
I very much doubt they'll win, i expect Team USA to get it together in the final half and come over the top of us and win by 10+, but even being competitive is fantastic for the Boomers

Offensive rebounds killed us
Was a 4 point game with a few minutes left and had 21-7 in offensive rebounds.

Still that was a fantastic result for us. We really pushed them

Wow the Kookaburras are out of form. They won't make a medal at this rate.

It's 0-0 early in the fourth against Great Britain.

Phil "The General" Smyth would have closed that game out.
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

That's the way Groves swims though. She goes out hard and says catch me if you can. Sometimes it comes back to bite you.... should have worn the acrylics, as the decision not too cost her gold.
