Couldn't believe with the game on the line they had a back court violation.

Game 6 is locked up at 88 a piece at three-quarter time

Edit - shot by raptors on the buzzer didn’t count. Warriors lead by 2

Great news. I love to see the lesser teams get up in the big competitions of their sport.

Cowboys GF win much better than a Roosters or Storm win.

I’m not a huge NBA fan, but Toronto is the team I follow.

Feels weird to support a champion team finally.

I started off being happy for toronto to win, but by the end of the series, seeing Steph play hurt, Klay play hurt and then go out with an ACL, Looney play with a broken collar bone, Iggy wasnt more than about 75% all series, Boogie was struggling with his injury and then also KD coming back and doing the achilles. All that **** and that warriors team kept battling so god damn hard. It was incredible.
I really wanted them to win and get to a game 7 and win it too. Would have been an incredible story

Fully fit that's 4-0 wash. But congrats to Toronto, part of it is being good enough to be there and having the opportunity to take the fortune as it comes to you. And they absolutely did that, they were the better team in about 20/24 qtrs of this series.

Kawhi was incredible

I love that a bunch of restaurants in Toronto have offered Kawhi free food for life if he re-signs.

I hope he stays. How likely do you think he’ll head to Clippers?

I think he'll do a very short deal, maybe a 1 year deal with a 1 year option and stay in Toronto.
Hard for him to leave now after winning the title... but i dont think they'll lock him up long term with the max, but he's now far and away the greatest player in that franchises history and who knows how much winning a title and the entire king of the north/drake **** all plays out... no one though PG would stay in OKC but he did.

I want to see him go to the Clippers though (actually, i want to see him go to Philly haha, but thats another story), i think that clippers team with Kawhi would be **** cool.

I’m conflicted with the greatest player comment, purely because Vince Carter was the reason I started getting behind them. But now that I’ve composed myself and picked the phone off the floor, I think you’re right.
Good to see Marc Gasol win as well. First time in NBA history brothers have won rings.

If Kawhi goes, I guess that will leave Linsanity and the next franchise player..

Yeah Vince carter was and kind of still is amazing and he put Toronto on the map as a NBA franchise
But titles are titles, Vince didn’t even get them out of the first round I don’t think

Kawhi just delivered them a ring. Its not to dissimilar to my eagles, Donny McNabb is arguably the franchises greatest QB (soon to be usurped if not already by Wentz) but Foles got us that ring haha

Kawhi won’t ever have to pay for a meal or beer in that entire nation again haha

I think Kawhi will go to the Clippers... It's always incredibly hard to go back-to-back, so I think he leaves on a high, knowing he'll forever be appreciated for bringing a championship to TO.

If Toronto had of lost, then it would've been hard for him to leave... in this alternate universe I think he re-signs on a short term deal.
