And yeah, captain dingleberry is way off. Agree with the rest of you - Hewitt could be a pratt at times but there's no comparison - Kyrgios is the lowest of the low. Can't ever imagine I'd want to support him in any way shape or form.
I'm not a tennis fan by any stretch of the imagination but if I was going to watch a match I think I'd rather watch Kyrgious self destruct than Murray or Federer crying because they won, lost or the wind changed direction

Bad luck to Kokkinakis. He put up a great fight against Medvedev. Two sets went to tie break and he took one of them.

De Minaur getting schooled by Berdych. Bit of a mismatch.

And as I say that, De Minaur gets the break in the second set.

Now Berdych with the double break in the third set. Getting completely overpowered. 5-0 in the third.

De Minaur knocked out. His body is just not up to playing against blokes like Berdych at this point.

Kyrgios really has a ridiculous hair cut. If Ricky Stuart were his coach that'd last two minutes. It shows why he is unfocused on the things that matter.

He has the world at his feet. All the necessary tools to be a great player but by god is he a douche. Constant whinging at the umpire and a complete lack of mental strength. If he doesn't sort it out he won't have the success that he is clearly capable of achieving.

If Ricky was his coach, he’d have been sacked...

Just not quite good enough. I think there is a 15 y/o girl starting her match now at just before midnight.

Djokovic beaten by a young Korean. Is there a changing of the guard? Nadal and Federer still awesome but so many young guys coming through.

Ah that was sweet to watch. That Korean had answers for everything, absolute gun. Even when Djoko would bring out his trademark mid-point-fake-injury-grunt/whine/whinge, the kid held his nerve and put him to the sword.

Some of Chung’s passing shots on the fly were unbelievable and out of the top shelf. Very classy performance, especially at 21

Yeah Chung's defensive tennis was amazing, felt sorry for Novak playing injured - he was brave - but geez it must be demoralising seeing balls come back that wouldn't against any other play (mind you, that's what Novak has done for years as well).

Channel 9 have pinched the tv rights for Australian summer of tennis. I wonder what’ll happen to the cricket rights

I suspect neither Tennis Australia, nor cricket australia will want their sports shunted to the 'secondary channels' like GEM and GO when there is a clash between the two sports. So it may give networks like 7 an inside running for the cricket.
