your point? Man U also have only lost one game all season too. i find that a good statistic.
The point is that Johnny Evans can't defend you quint.

@rsenal were very poor creatively. Only the one real chance, and the desperation of United defence saved them.
United created plenty of chances, but were very wasteful.

Rooney's penalty was a shocker and he looked frustrated all match. I think he needs Berba or someone similar beside him so he doesn't have to do it all on his own.

Anderson seems to have come back from his injury really well. He controlled the midfield well.

Was a little heated at times, a lot of niggly challenges. Not the best game between the two teams, but still a great spectacle.

As I think I've said previously... it's amazing to think that Manchester United are on top of the ladder at this stage, given just how poorly they have played at times. Chelsea are diabolical at the moment and Arsenal look brilliant at times, but still have those same old mistakes in them. Man City can **** off, they wont win it.

Bolton go down to 10 men then defeat Blackburn, 24 hours later and Sam Allardyce is given the boot, as well as his assitant

Surprised to see that tbh.. Blackburn weren't doing THAT bad, especially when you consider their limited budget.. Maybe the old hack the bone and hoof it long + score if set pieces days are about to die in the premier league? Bolton, West Brom and Blackpool have shown that you don't need to have big name players to move to ball around and play some real football..

btw, Martin Jol is favourite to take over.. My money is on Avram Grant being the next sacked.

If Blackburn get relegated this could be the greatest season ever - an awful club full of awful players who play awful football and (were) managed by an awful man.

That awful man said he is good enough to manage Real Madrid, Man United and Barcelona.. Said he would win multiple European titles

Well the Inter Milan position might be free soon......

so it looks like the big threat to Man U's title hopes are man city. Could make for a good title fight.

I'd say Arsenal is easily the biggest threat.

Big match tomorrow!!!!

Sir Alex has already said he is going to field the strongest possible team, unlike last year where he only fielded a team that he thought could do the job.

GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED!!!

Awesome win by the boys on monday morning!

they probably were gifted the penalty, but held on and nearly made it 2-0!

Gerrard getting sent off was the icing on the cake really.

I almost felt sorry for Kenny Dalglish...

Ill assume that you didnt watch the match. cause if you did, you would have seen Liverpool throwing everything they had at Man U in the second half, nearly pulling off a equaliser a few times.

It's ok Pooley, just making retarded posts and we'll stop mocking you. MY FAVOURITEST TEAM IN THE WHOLE WORLD DOVE FOR A FIRST-MINUTE PENALTY AND THEN 'HUNG ON' AGAINST A CRAP TEAM WHO GOT THEIR CAPTAIN AND BEST PLAYER SENT OFF - YAAAAAYYY.

x2.

I'd prefer to discuss the affect that losing Park to the Asian Cup will have on United. I like the kid, he is a very good player and rightfully has a place in the Man U team I reckon.

Also, I am still baffled that Man U are so far ahead. Tbh, this is one of the worst United teams I can recall for decades, they just seem to get results. Man for man this side isn't a patch on the one a decade ago.

Also, what are your thoughts about your beloved Foxes signing the Yak on loan Henson?

Very happy mate, Erikkson is getting it sorted for a strong finish to a tight league. Yak and Darius Vassell up front ain't bad for a Championship side! Will have to discuss in other thread though because neither Yak or any Foxes are going to end up at United! ha ha

I agree, they are missing the big talent they have had over the years.

Rooney is too hot and cold. there's no other big name players like in the past: Ronaldo, Tevez, Van Nistelrooy, Beckham, Cantona and Keane.

but as you said, they are getting the results. they have dropped one game all season over the Premier league, champions league, FA cup and the league cup.

It is just strange. It isn't just the players, it is the style too. Arsenal play the best football I reckon, just don't get the results that United do. I suppose a lot can be said for a team that knows how to win and also find the net which seems to be the Gunners problem.

I expect United to get knocked over quickly in Europe, although like all English teams I hope they don't.

yeah, im not very positive over the champions league.

The FA cup will depend on how seriously they take it.

as for Arsenal, they were woeful against a leeds team that was pushing forward. it was only when Leeds started defending their lead did the gunners climb back into the match.
