2.5 wins in the entire NFC east after 3 weeks, what a **** show
Giants got punished by a 49ers team decimated by injuries. Awful stuff

Gotta say, im straight up not having a good time this season
It's been a few years since ive found an eagles team this unwatchable. This has so far been end of days Chip Kelly level nonsense.
Didnt see it coming at all.
The only saving grace is that whilst Dallas will win the div, that D couldnt cover their own **** shadow, and their HC is Jason Garrett in another form and cant hope to win a SB. Small mercy.

I agree re the D, bar Diggs. That kid is learning fast, and making big plays.Botman wrote: ↑September 28, 2020, 9:41 pm Gotta say, im straight up not having a good time this season

My Aldon Smith prediction is looking ok though.
Re: NFL Thread
Alright... well this is making me feel better... i thought the Eagles had a chance to be a contender this year and i was depressed AF that they sucked ****... turns out there are no contenders. Only Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes and a 31 pretenders
Andy Reid is a stunningly brilliant play caller with a great feel for how to attack teams, and Patty Mahomes is masterful at running it, and then has this ability with his legs to extend plays, run for first downs/touchdowns or create time for these skill players to find space and the arm talent to get it to them anywhere quickly
This team is as unstoppable as i've ever seen, right there side by side with the peak Brady-Moss Patriots. I dont see how the Chiefs get beat, the 19-0, though unlikely, isnt out of the question.

If the Ravens, who imo are clearly the second best team in the NFL, get boat raced by this team in Baltimore... what hope does anyone have?

5 players and 6 staff from Titans testing positive. Could see a few dominoes fall now. See what happens in the coming days.

I'm back!
Melvin Ingram and Chris Harris out multiple weeks.
Brian Bulaga and Trai Turner are also out this week so nearly their whole O Line is backups.
Love this team!
Someone give us covid so we can rest up for a few weeks

I wouldn’t crown the Chiefs just yet fellas... that Brady/Moss Pats team fell short after all.

Re: NFL Thread
yeah the next few days are going to be critical
Wouldnt shock me at all to see the league put a 2-3 pause on and try and get this back under control if more positives start rolling in

Re: NFL Thread
They're stuffed. 4 to 6 weeks and it starts getting cold, like nothing you experience in Australia cold. Covid is going to rip through there even worse than it has been.

Yeah, this is spot on. America is on the verge of their third wave kicking off, and it’s going to be unlike anything we’ve seen so fargergreg wrote:They're stuffed. 4 to 6 weeks and it starts getting cold, like nothing you experience in Australia cold. Re: NFL Thread
I would be shocked if the NFL paused for 2-3 weeks. They have ploughed ahead throughout of all this, they’re not going to suddenly hit pause at the first hurdle. They knew this was going to happen at some point; it would have to get a lot worse for a full schedule pause to happen.
Also, look at how the virus has spread throughout the US - the early hot spot was the northeast, then they were in California and the south in the summer, and now it’s going through the Midwest. There will be spikes as people congregate inside more throughout the winter, but once the Midwest outbreak slows, I expect case numbers should start to recede again until thanksgiving in November - that will be the next big test for the US.

Re: NFL Thread
This is officially like watching the Raiders of old. You know they will put up points, but, can they score more than the D will conceed.
****!
****!
Re: NFL Thread
The eagles, after resembling a dumpster fire for the opening 3 weeks, have an opportunity to take the division lead tonight.
Re: NFL Thread
Mullins is playing awfully tonight. Looks like Eagles will get their 1st W of the season and go to the top of the NFC Least
Re: NFL Thread
Defund the NFC East.

Giants just softened the 9ers up for our Eastern comrades.

Re: NFL Thread
God look at us... giants, eagles and dallas fans... the shame is collectively ours
In better news, Aussie Mailata had his first start yesterday against the Niners at LT. He gave up 1 pressure and had 1 false start and was otherwise totally competent
With that game, he's probably earnt himself 10 years of a career as a back up swing bare minimum, if not on his way to a good career as a starter
Re: NFL Thread
Another prediction bites the dust
BoB out as GM and HC for the Texans... Eric Beienemy would be my pick there for them, he'd be real fun with Watson

Re: NFL Thread
Stern test this week. TJ Watt coming to town and a full game of film to study on where he's struggling technically
Could be a blood bath, but if he holds up again this week... im pretty much ready to just let him have the job until Dillard and back
Jason Peters has looked absolutely washed at LT this year.

Re: NFL Thread
Serious Q, is Dak a problem?
Or is our D 100% of the issue?
I wanna know if I seeing past the bias or not

Re: NFL Thread
Same situation as Wentz, albeit on a different level
Dak isnt a problem, and nor is Wentz
The fact they arent playing their best right now is a problem. Dak is not copping the **** Wentz is because his team is still putting up massive numbers offensively and to be frank, his level of play has been much higher than Wentz's but that's not to say it's been good either
His ball security and decision making has been off all season long, i think for Dak is a product of knowing the defence couldnt stop a soul, so he's putting so much pressure on himself to score on every possession... which is forcing into trying to extend plays that arent there, and make throws that are beyond his arm talent.
The defence is most of the problem, but Dak has to shoulder some of this himself he's got 7 turn overs in 4 games. Like Wentz (8 t/o's) that's not good enough

Re: NFL Thread
Thats what im seeing too. His INTs are mostly chasing pts. Fumbles because he is extending plays, because well, the D sucks balls. TBF, he is also playing behind a beat up, patched together OL.Botman wrote: ↑October 7, 2020, 7:18 pm Same situation as Wentz, albeit on a different level

TBH, im more worried about Zekes turnovers than Daks.
Ok...
So, if everyone else can see it, why haven't we signed ET3 or Snacks?
