TBH, I think they would be crazy to trade. But it would certainly make draft day interesting if Giants and Jagz were off the QB trail.Northern Raider wrote: ↑March 7, 2019, 9:18 amGiants are a perfect trade partner. I hadn't included them as I felt they were fixed on drafting Haskins. Rosen to Giants and Foles to Jags could even see Haskins drop out of the top 10.

Re: NFL Thread
Look, Caserley is very plugged into the league, so i dont doubt he's heard this from somewhere... but where?Northern Raider wrote: ↑March 6, 2019, 3:26 pm Interesting snippet from a post combine article while discussing Kyler Murray:
former Redskins and Texans GM Charley Casserly said of feedback he received about how Murray interviewed with teams in Indianapolis: “These were the worst comments I ever got on a top-rated quarterback and I’ve been doing this a long time. . . . Leadership — not good. Study habits — not good. The board work — below not good. Not good at all in any of those areas, raising major concerns about what this guy is going to do.”
None of those things scream no1 overall pick. Murray has unbelievable tools. Speed, agility, arm, accuracy, instincts etc but to make it at the next level you really need to nail the mental aspect. Will be able to apply himself to being a top NFL QB?
This is disinformation SZN.
He apparently ACED his Cards interview... i mean, spitballing, is this the Raiders trying to scare the Cards off so he gets to #4?
Who knows. This is the season where GM's, Agents and players become "anonymous sources"
Re: NFL Thread
I think that's a fair point, but maybe overselling Bridgewater. I dont think he's that good at all, but yeah the risk of him being good is larger. So point well madeNorthern Raider wrote: ↑March 6, 2019, 10:40 am For the Dolphins I don't see them picking up Bridgewater if they want Tua next year. Teddy is just as likely to give them 7-8 wins which will put them out of the contest. Easiest way to tank is go with a QB currently on their roster. They recently signed Jake Rudock so why use him? Luke Falk is also on the roster coming of a hand injury. Coaching staff like him so he's in the mix too. Add a low cost veteran QB like Josh McCown as a back up and mentor.
With Bridgewater I think you're killing your chances of the top 5 pick next year. If they did sign him then they should be looking to use their no13 pick this year on Drew Lock. Alternatively target Grier in the 2nd round.
Re: NFL Thread
Rosen would fit in nicely with the Giants and that offence. That would make a ton of sense.

Reports that Skins may trade for Case Keenum. I imagine Broncos would be chasing a 4th round pick they gave up for Flacco. Might be a win win trade.

Nothing would please me more than to see the Skins trade for Case Keenum for a **** fourth, rather than give up a 3rd for Rosen
Do it, Deadskins.

I guess Broncos got something from nothing there.
Net result is swapped Keenum for Flacco and 4th+7th round picks for a 6th round. Thats not going to excite the fans much.

Re: NFL Thread
Something about these top end WRs being so high maintenance. Steelers will be better off without him in the locker room. Conversely the Bills will be happy to pick up a good target for Josh Allen. Also means they won't be tempted to draft Metcalf, which would be wasting a top 10 pick IMO.

Rapsheet might have made himself a bit of a goat here. I was curious as to why Schefter was so quiet about this deal, and now he’s spoken
Said BUF and PIT have had talks but unlikely a deal gets done

I particularly like Rosen at the Saints, i think i said in my post i thought about that as a spot, it'd be a really good spot for him IMO.
Lock to Denver could absolutely be a thing, apparently Elway is in love with him. That pick is for Joooohn!
Fromm with the Bengals would be interesting too, i like that.

The real winner here... AB.
He bitched, carried on, created almighty drama... and he got moved to a team who increased his GTD money from exactly $0 to $30mil
And the steelers got pennies on the dollar for it.
Wild.

I can’t believe the Steelers only got a 3rd and 5th for Brown. I was expecting at least a late 1st or early 2nd

Sucks, but im a bit over the backlash about how badly AB treated the steelers... Never... EVER... forget these dudes dont have gtd contracts, they can and are cut anytime they arent living up to their price tag... **** even if they do live up to the price tag, the Ravens just cut Eric Weddle, pro bowler and maybe future HOFer, he was a vital to that D... but cap wise he had to go. So he's gone.
When that's happening, i cant hate on a player who has leverage, and using that leverage to parlay it into a more money.
Get the bag, AB. **** the steelers
Re: NFL Thread
Good trade. Osemele's a stud.
He's not who he was before but he's still damn good, and a dude dealing with a down year where he was dealing with injuries and Tom **** Cable is the sort of dude i'd take a punt on.
