Re: NFL Thread
Because Earl Thomas isnt who he once was and it apparently a nightmare in the locker room
Snacks Harrison was basically crying in the dressing rook the end of the season because his mind was willing but he could tell his body wasnt capable
Neither of those two guys are solving the Boys problems on D

WFT has dropped Haskins for Kyle Allen, and Alex Smith will be the backup.
Re: NFL Thread
And so ends the Haskins era.
That week 1 comeback will be remembered as a shameful moment in eagles history

Re: NFL Thread
Well, thats about as 2020 Cowboys as it gets.
Dak ankle. ****! Now I have to cheer for the Red Rocket...
Fumble by the centre while ahead on the 20. Go down.
Have to drive the field to tie.
Then have to drive the field with a tick over 1min to win.
2 replay catches to Micheal 'clutch' Gallup (he is ballin' this yr! He is also the go to in the clutch, not our 120mill WR... again, how Cowboys).
Greg 'the leg' Zeirlin gets it done.

Can't think of too many better backups in the league.

Dont get me wrong, Im more confident with him under centre than our other 2 options, BUT... its the Red Rocket. I dont think our turnovers will be getting better.

Geez you're a tough audience. Dalton's performances in a perennially poor franchise are quite remarkable.Matt wrote: ↑October 12, 2020, 9:57 amThere probably arent, but he is still the Red Rocket.Northern Raider wrote: ↑October 12, 2020, 9:54 amCan't think of too many better backups in the league.

Re: NFL Thread
Problem is the Cowboys were eying a SB run this year... Dalton will be competent and still a good chance they win the division with him under centre, but does anyone think Dalton and this Dallas D is going to be anything but fodder in the play offs?
And Eagles wont fair any better, the NFC E winner is going to stuffed into a sack at home in the play offs, whoever wins it

Re: NFL Thread
Good to know the NRL bunker isn't the only one that makes howlers on video review. That last play by Vikings was clearly an incomplete pass. Somehow ruled a fumble.

I mean it doesn’t matter, no way Kirk was going to heave one into the endzone for a winning Hail Mary and they sure as **** won’t call PI even if you mug a guy at knife point on that play, but it was very clearly and obviously an incomplete pass

Yeah, that was an awful call. Wouldn’t have mattered. Being a Seahawks supporter is not doing my heart much good though.
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

I haven’t seen it yet. I will eventually, although they often leave injuries out of Game in 40’ replays.
