Saints get Baun. Again not a position of need for them. Obviously going BPA.

Raiders back to back picks. Good chance one is a QB I reckon.

Raiders take Lynn Bowden with the 1st of them. Reckon he's one player every team would like to have on the roster. Perfect gadget player. Had my eye on him for Phins in 4th

I see he has a 2nd grade.
I still think we were better served with a S or CB. Perhaps they rate the guy we got from the XFL. Forget his name atm

TEs will start going soon. I can see us going there in the 4th. Though, Duvernay is popular in Dallas, so he could be an option.

Though, it seems we are going with a BPA theory too.

Just watched a heap of highlights. Looks disruptive. Good hands, push and pursuit. I like what I've seen.

If Eason or Fromm is there at 123 it would be very interesting to see if they take a backup.

TE looks like the value pick at this point. But a swing tackle would be handy.

I like the 'yappy dog' (midget CBs) coming up too - Robinson, Davis and Scott

Panthers and giants both take CB at the top of the 4th. I don’t know either of the players, so I can only judge the picks based on teams needs. Therefore, good pick for the Panthers who desperately need CBs, bad pick by the Giants who need pass rushers a lot more than DBs

Colts get Jacob Eason in the 4th round. That’s a great value pick. I was expecting him to go in the second. Ironic that he gets selected before Jake Fromm, who took his starting job at Georgia

Im happy.
Took another CB. Sounds a bit Awuzie-ish. Athletic but raw.

Got a centre. And his surname reads like 'badass', which has to be good.

Got a edge guy with a 3-4 grade in the 5th. Probably a 3-4 OLB though

The eagles certainly won’t lack for speed this year

Raegor, Goodwin, and the other dudes they drafted at WR all had sub 4.35 Times

If Djax and Jeffery can combine to give us a full season (so roughly missing 8 games each) then we’ll have those guys, Raegor, Greg Ward Jr and these late picks to figure it out

Well, you have most of our CBs covered.

Anthony Brown 4.35 (#2/3 CB)
Chris Westry 4.31. 6'4" too. (2nd yr)

Awuzie 4.43 (#2/3 CB)
CJ Goodwin 4.46 (#4/5 CB, Sp T)
4th pick 2020, Robinson 4.44
Canady 4.49 (Sp T gunner)

2nd pick 2020, Diggs 4.52 (unofficial, no combine 40)
Lewis 4.56 (Slot CB)
Burton 4.58 (Prac Sq)
S. Smith 4.71 (YUK! XFL guy)

Taking a QB in the 7th. Well there u go.

We covered our needs.
1st need, CB - Stud ball hawk CB in Diggs, plus doubling down with an upside project with Robinson.

2nd need, Edge - 5th Rd, 3-4th grade. Lamb falling meant we passed on Chassion, the Baun drugs? Passed on him.

3rd need, WR - Stud!!! Could be our 2nd, WR in Lamb.

4th need, DL - 2nd grade in the 3rd.

5th need, Int. OL/C - trading up into the end of the 4th to get Badass.

Backup QB taken in the 7th. TBH, I have very little to no faith in our backups, so Dak better sign on that dotted line.

Both Colts and Bills got great picks here. Eason can sit behind Rivers a couple of years and will get every opportunity to become their future starter.

Fromm seems too limited to be a 1st team QB at the next level. However he's football smart and very accurate, which could see him as a solid career backup. Low risk pick for the Bills at that stage given they already have their young starter.

Tired: The eagles wasted a second round pick on a back up QB

Wired: Jalen Hurts can be Taysom Hill but with a legit NFL arm.

Inspired: The eagles can showcase Hurts in the preseason and trade him to the Jags for Ngokue and picks at the trade deadline

TBH i only sort of go about 50 deep in this draft. Havent really gone deeper this year. Usually i use downtime at work to do that, but i was busy home schooling this year

So no wraps up. Im just now trying to get a baring on the guys the eagles took, most of which ive not seen a thing from

Day 3 is about 150 cases of "Who the **** is this ****". Normally done and dusted before I crawl out of bed. I get up and scan through the Phins picks and read the reports. After that I look for any names I know among the rest.

Yeah I had a decently informed opinion of roughly the top 80 prospects. So by day 3, I’m got no clue for all but the few whose draft stock fell.

I am loathe to defend the pick because i dont think it's what should have been done, but the criticism of it is certainly starting to swing too far in the one direction.

If Hurts is completely and totally worthless, he'll join roughly 60% of the 2nd round class who will also be viewed 4 years from now as as wasted pick. Id like to throw my darts somewhere else given where the squad is, but lets not sit here and pretend that 2nd round picks are anything but a mildly better lottery ticket.

If he's turns out to be good, the eagles can move him for a future first.
I actually like the player and value in a vacuum... if the Jags made that pick in that spot, it'd be a slam dunk for them. The only question is whether the eagles could have done more to help the team win now. But the organisation appears to be forever content with keeping their eyes firmly on the future

I felt burnt after JK Dobbins went one spot before Dolphins at no56. Happier today with their move to address the running game. Traded one of their 5th round picks to 49ers for Matt Breida. With him and Jordan Howard it's a classic thunder and lightning combo. With the rebuilt On-line we should be able to move the chains on the ground.
