Eagles just put Jalen Mills on IR.
It’s the legion of whom from here on out.

Eagles likely missing 7 starters on defence, and full steam ahead with practise squaders at corner

I don’t think they’ll keep within 14 of Dallas. Too banged up. :(

Hah na no excuse
Man to man, dallas are the better team right now
The only areas philly have an advantage is at QB and HC, and probably WR
Even the DL is pretty even given how well the Dallas line is playing

If the eagles pull an upset it will be because Pedeson and Wentz had a 2017 level of game plan and play.

Check twitter, they'll let you know how "questionable" these calls were.
Eagles dont deserve to be in the play off picture, and they aren't... so in that sense, there is only so much say but that game swung on 3-4 MAJOR calls by officials, which were not questionable. But flat out wrong.

Giants vs Skins - G-Men take the Skins to the cleaners. Barkley kills them. Moving further from Draft QB territory... haahaha. Q... Why take Sanchez when you could have had Kaep? Esp now that Josh Johnson is under centre scrambling, and read optioning?!?!

Saints vs Buccs - After a really slow start by the Saints, they needed a massive 4th quarter to get home.

Pats vs Phins –A game that ebbed and flowed. The lead changed heaps too. Phins rallied, and despite 2 blocked punts, they get the laterals to work, and they grab a massive scalp and win. WOOOOOOW!!!!

Ravens vs Chief – Loads of exciting plays. The highlight package is worth watching. Hill and Kelce do Hill and Kelce things in this one. Ravens just run it, by RB or QB. Some crazy throwing styles and types in this. With the 2 QBs it looks like backyard footy.

Colts vs Texans – Offense vs Defense. A big 2nd quarter by Colts allowed them to hold on.

Falcons vs Packers – Falcons are bad. ARod and Jones were all over them. Took the foot off the pedal in the last quarter. Falcons stats and stuff really padded out at the end.

Browns vs Panthers – Mayfield to Landry, with a good mix of Chubb, gets it done for the Browns.

Jets vs Bills – Bills offense is all Allen. TBH, I’m still not totally sure how the Jets won. The lost basically every stat bar the score.

Bengals vs Chargers – Was actually a pretty close game in the end. Chargers were the better side for most of the game though.

49ers vs Bronx – Rarely does a box score say it all BUT… Kittle, a TE, yep a TE, 7 reception for 210 and 1 TD. The man giving him the ball gets some good figure too, Mullins 20/33 for 332, 2TDs and 1INT.

Lions vs Cards – This is a tyre fire! Rosen out plays Stafford, but the Lions move the ball on the ground better. That’s the difference.

Steelers vs Raiders – R U kidding?!?!? These awful Raiders have pushed good teams 2 wks in a row. This time they get the chocolates. Big Ben and Juju go to work, BUT… Carr and Cook matched them. With the game tying FG attempt is blocked due to the kicker falling over. Steelers lose.

Eagles vs Cowboys – HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS!!! TBH, there are certainly some questionable plays. That kickoff was Eagles ball. There were heaps of dumb penalties on the Cowboys. Our kicker can’t be guaranteed to kick easy FGs, but can slot a ridiculas 62 yarder. The way we moved the ball in the 1st half we should have put the game to bed by the half. We nearly choked. Then it required a lucky bounce in OT to win.

*Currently Playing
Rams vs Bears – Bears are winning will 11mins to go 15-6. Its been a 'pick-a-thon'. 3 INTs each. WOW
#SELF EDIT - And thats the final score. 1 more INT for Goff.

yeah thats a really good and well written article.
thanks for posting.

FWIW i think he's going to be one of those guys who on day 3, at the back end of round 6 or somewhere in round 7 where he could be drafted if someone wants to get a real look at him, but most likely he'll go undrafted and end up signed at a UDFA and we'll see.

I just read an interesting article about it, apparently he’s very focused on being a HC and Zimmer felt he was calling plays that benefited him not the Vikings
And rumblings out of the eagles was they weren’t too disappointed to see him leave because his HC aspiration act had worn a bit thin

I think this firing will be a humbling, there is no question he’s a great coach and terrific OC. He’s not going to come off being fired and walk into a HC gig (I wouldn’t think anyways, anything’s possible) so he’s gotta go back to another OC job and rebuild his rep a bit and be a bit patient

He’ll be a HC one day but maybe that’s 2-3 years from now.

In the meantime I’d love to have him back working with Wentz and Press Taylor, where he was very successful last year and helped Doug Pederson out a lot

Interesting indeed. In that context the firing makes a lot more sense.
