JL and Danzig should be a good fight. JL is one of my favourite fighters.

It's BS

But you can't record that as I've found out

I'll download it later tonight

'Bigfoot' Silva flunks post-fight drug test, stripped of $50k bonus

Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva and Mark Hunt bit down on their mouthpieces and swung for the fences several weeks ago in Brisbane, putting on arguably the greatest heavyweight fight in MMA history, but it appears that has all been tainted, with Silva failing a post-fight drug test.

MMA Junkie reports that Silva flunked his drug test following his majority draw against Hunt, and as a result he will forfeit his $50,000 “Fight of the night” bonus, which will go directly to the pockets of Hunt.

The 34-year-old Brazilian had received a therapeutic use exemption (TUE) for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) before the fight, but his testosterone levels were still outside of the allowable limits when he was tested.

I watched that fight last night, what a bloodbath.

Apparently 60% of the fighters on the card couldn't attend the after party as they were all in hospital.

Apparently big foot has now failed a drug test and the full $US100,000 fight of the night bonus will go to Hunt.

Dana white has also tweeted it as the best heavyweight fight he has ever seen so the likeable Samoan is looking at some massive pay days

You all fight like girls
Avatar Bet - bleedgreen99 - Raiders to make (BG99)/miss(Lucy) the 8. Avatar from last round of regular season 2015 until GF 2016.
Signature Bet - Raider85 - Raiders to get(Lucy)/miss(R85) the wooden spoon. Signature for entire offseason.
Bottle of something to the value of $70 - Matthew Borewood to not see (Lucy)/to see (Piggles) a first grade game in 2015 for the Warriors.
The Name Change Bet - Regarding the three bets above;
I win all three I keep my name.
I win one I become "the Punish"
I lose all I become "Chicken Little"

That's the second time that's happened in UFC history. There are more broken legs in rugby league.

Just saw the Anderson fight , yuck , that was ugly , unfortunate , as Jake said its only the 2nd time it has happened , Justin Carneys leg break was worse. Yow Yeh ? anyway it is unlucky and at 38 may be the end of Anderson , one of the best fighters

Tate v Rousey was great , Rousey's Judo is unbelievable , Misha I thought fought the wrong fight and she said her tactics were to keep it at a distance but she kept on shooting for a takedown and Rhonda was always going to win there.

got to go back an watch the rest of the card now

You can't take Rousey down. Misha ****ed up, she could have won if she kept her distance and made it a brawl instead of a wrestling match.

As for the leg break. Just unlucky but he will recover. Probably won't fight again but that is because he has already established himself as the greatest UFC fighter ever and he is nearly 40.

Also time for Leben to quit. He said it himself. The days of being able to win on toughness alone are over.

I was so shattered to see Anderson go down like that, I followed his career from the start and only started watching UFC religiously because of him. I hope he can come back and get a couple more highlight finished but if not I'm happy to follow the career of the up and comers and watch his highlight reel every so often.

The Rousey, Tate fight was amazing. I was watching the event at the local pub. There was around 5 ppl there to see the fights and when the girls came on the place was quiet and every1 inside was fixated on that fight, not in a pervey way but were enjoying the fight. The females so far haven't let anyone down, even if i haven't heard of the females on the card I'm now always looking forward to watching the fights.

Has anyone been keeping up with TUF nations? The last two fights were both wars. Tyler was the less technical fighter but just showed lots of guts.

I am watching it but havent seen yesterdays episode yet.

The Aussies have been a few classes below in the previous fights , they have heart and guts but lack the talent .

It's true and sadly to be expected. I think the quality of fighters will improve a lot soon, with all this coverage and attention the UFC is giving us.

Just watched the fight

It was interesting , to me Tyler looked gassed at the end of the 1st round , it might be more of his casual style but he didnt seem to be throwing any combinations , When he was throwing the straight jab he was connecting well and even dropped the Canadian off one but I thought a higher percentage of his punches were off target.

2nd round I thought it was an easy round to the Canadian.

3rd round I again thought it was close and if Tyler hadn't reversed the take down right at the death I think he would have lost

UFC Will Not Offer TUF Nations Contestant a Contract After Racist Instagram Pic

The UFC organization had hired an investigation company in Australia to conduct thorough background investigations on potential contestants for The Ultimate Fighter Nations television series. Unfortunately, the background checks did not uncover all of the social media history by contestant Tyler Manawaroa. The UFC is committed to having an environment that is free from discrimination. Consequently, UFC has notified Manawaroa that regardless of how far he advances in the completed television series, the organization will not be offering him a contract to compete in the UFC.

Interesting ,

A bit embarrassing for the UFC and the company that did the investigation. I would think the social media side of things are the easiest to check and probably the 1st ones you would

Not excusing him , but what he posted is 2 years old , which makes him 17 years old when he did it.

Dumb thing to do but you would like to think he has matured some from then and learned from it

The finale next Thursday morning for UFC nations Canada vs um Canada

Another poor showing from the Aussies , a great finish from the Canadian but the Aussie should never have got into that position . Anyway , the Aussies are multiple classes below.

They would probably benefit going into a camp 1st in the US before they actually go into the Australian camp for the show.
