It appears Usman's cards have been marked. Currently averaging over 60 in Shield cricket. If he was going to be picked it would be on his home track

It's definitely a mistake not picking him. If we win comfortably though, it may continue throughout the series.

A NZ bowler getting 10 wickets in an innings, then watching his team get bowled out for 62, is a vintage NZ cricket performance from my childhood

Yep, I saw that on Saturday and thought I'd better tune it. India crushing them .... switch off... still it's a pretty impressive record

Wanted to swap 2nd test for 5th test as players would be coming from QLD. Cricket SA's response was something like "thanks for the offer. Don't call us. We'll call you."

Its the perfect opportunity to send an Ashes test to Tassie. Unlikey to get one ever again.

Tassie conditions probably suit the poms more than the manuka road.

Is the England bowling attack good enough to take advantage? No Broad, Anderson or Archer. Woakes' record outside England is very ordinary. Wood has yet to establish himself as a test class bowler. Robinson is promising but yet to play a test away from home. Stokes has hardly played any cricket.

Sensational opening day of the First Test Match for Australia. England all out for 147. Fast bowlers do all the damage. Green will be giving it to the GOAT. Where's your wicket GOAT? It will be interesting to see how Australia come up when we have to bat.

To be honest with you I haven't really been paying attention to the lead up to the series from the England side of things and had no idea those guys were missing. Probably fair to give the advantage to Australia then

Very good first day for the new Australian Captain Pat Cummins. Personally he takes 5 wickets and his side has a day of dominance. There will be tough days ahead, but on Day 1 he is all smiles. Good Luck PC.

Poms attack is avg IMO. Only 1 of those guys is particularly scary. Not playing Broad was a mistake. Esp with Anderson out.

That said...
I have ZERO faith in Harris. I bet his Test avg doesn't improve.
I worry about Warner and Heads ability to hit a moving ball.
As usual, we will rely on Labu and Smith.
