The Cricket Thread
I live five minutes walk from the ground... it is really bad. It changed in the matter of minutes. The photo really not showing how bad it is. It is like a bonfire right in your backyard. Yet this smoke is coming from the south coast and the fire near Braidwood.

They really are playing BBL at substandard grounds these days. Moe? It’s really lost some shine.

I reckon it’s bloody fantastic that they’re playing these games at regional areas. I mean these games are completely forgettable in the long run. Coffs Harbour hosts a gams in January too.
well, I guess you could say that I'm buy curious.

Everybody expected that to be the case. Still some epic trolling from Langer by adding Siddle to the squad.Matt wrote: ↑December 24, 2019, 5:30 pm Pattinson has been confirmed for Boxing Day.

1st over Boxing Day and Boult unleashes a cracker to dismiss Burns. Going to be a tough session for Aussies.

Re: The Cricket Thread
It was a great left arm swinging delivery though. Right on the money and cleaned Burns up middle stump. Difficult conditions for the Aussies but they are battling through it.

Re: The Cricket Thread
Aussies were looking pretty solid till that last half hour. Warner started fending outside off again. Then copped one in the chest that may has rattled him. Smith battling away but looked like Wagner was getting in his head.
Normally would be NZ session but given they chose to bowl first you would call it even. 1st hour back from lunch will be telling.

Re: The Cricket Thread
Great ball from Boult. Perfect left arm swing delivery. It's a good ball to bowl to Burns, as his technique is in question there too. Bat and pad too far away.
Warner definitely rattled by the hit to the chest. Started fishin', eventually 'caught something.
Labu dragging on off his forearm. Well, that's the very rare example of why shouldering arms is the way to play it. Get out of the way completely. Don't 'swing the lightsaber' when leaving. Coz stats will show, eventually something like that will happen.
Smith quickly to 50 post Tea.
Wade looking edgy.

Re: The Cricket Thread
They have such a solid seam attack. Really let down by lack of a quality spin bowler.

The NZ commentary team covering this test match through either tv, radio or print all agree he's not even the best spinner in NZ...tru dat !!Northern Raider wrote: ↑December 26, 2019, 3:38 pmThey have such a solid seam attack. Really let down by lack of a quality spin bowler.

Re: The Cricket Thread
1st test I thought Raval looked more threatening. Accurate stump to stump line kept them honest. Santner they just wait on him till they get a loose one.-PJ- wrote: ↑December 26, 2019, 3:53 pmThe NZ commentary team covering this test match through either tv, radio or print all agree he's not even the best spinner in NZ...tru dat !!Northern Raider wrote: ↑December 26, 2019, 3:38 pmThey have such a solid seam attack.
