Geez we need 400+ here.

India will cope well on this wicket outside the new ball.

Yeah, reckon it's a 400+ pitch and they did choose to bat first. It's in the balance right now.
Useless . India will get 400 comfortably on that wicket

That's it you put the mocker on him now.

It feels for some reason like it rains every Sydney test nowadays...

Geez!!!
I said he gets a great chance. Didn’t say he would take it.

For predictions I'm backing Steve Smith for a big 100

Yeah and that’s the thing with Starc. Game situation tells him to play straight, pick up singles, put away the bad ball and support Smudge..

I bet my left nut Langer didn’t tell him to swing like an idiot..

Starc really is a "barn door" batsmen these days. If we are already 350 nothing pitch, sure. BUT... at 8 for 290 or whatever it was, and Smithy closing in on a 100, bat long, bat sensible, get a bigger total.

Its funny... I yelled that at him the ball before when he cleared the fielder. Then yelled at Smithy for not walking down and telling him to cool it, and help him go big.
Next ball.... ****

There's a lot more seam in this deck today. Not easy batting when the quicks hit the right areas.
