I was one who doubted Warners comeback following suspension and the Ashes tour failures. But he has proved he is an extra special player by scoring a triple hundred. Well done to him.

Highest Test score at the ground.
Joins those few Aussies with triples.
Closing in on Dons (and Tubbys) 334.
Plenty of time to knock off Haydos' 380 too.

Not sure why he didn't send out a message, 10 overs have a crack at 400

They aren't batting again, and Pakistan aren't batting for 3 days

Agreed.
However, they expect rain tomorrow, so it might only need 2 and a bit days of batting

ABC had been talking about rain tomorrow. Paine may justify his decision as putting team before individual. It was a potential for even greater history though. Hopefully there was no sandpaper recollection influencing the decision. Haydos is such a clean skin record holder. Taylor refused to out score the Don. Then there is Warner.

Nobody wants old mate Warner to hold the record, even his own captain.

He doesn't deserve to hold records imo.

I would have pulled him up short of Pup, Tubby and Don as well.

I'm very angry this morning for some reason.. :D
