Yep, logistically it will be a nightmare.

Council will need a full 12months to plan this.

Really? Sounds like a normal night on Hunter St.
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

I've seen a "fly over" of the track and it looks great.

The shots from the chopper during racing will be awesome I reckon.

I'll be tuned into practice tomorrow to get a birds eye view from over the steering wheel.

There are virtual laps of the street circuit on the V8 Supercars website
http://www.supercars.com/
1 external and 1 from behind the wheel.

Keen to see how the track goes.. A brand new track to decide the championship!

If that race wasn't manufactured then I don't know what is. I'm still scratching my head as to how 38kmh exceeds 40kmh...

was doing 45kmh at the line, inertia etc.

too many flat earther whincup haters.

If SM sits behind moff for 1 more lap he'd be champion, as if moff wasn't going to let his best mate pass for the championship

Instead he wedged Lowndes into the fence and the rest is history

Everything shows so far that he was down to 32kmph engaged the pit lane speed monitor prior to pit lane (can see the light flashing at the rear of the car prior to pit lane) which brought him up to 38kmph.

That was more staged than WWF.

The whole thing is a farce. It’s a company not a sport, completely manufactured, as it has been all year.

As for the rubbish with Lowndes at the end there is no way an incident like that can be investigated within 40 seconds. Absolute joke. They got the result they wanted.

Epic race, best one I have seen in a long time. Cracker of a pit strategy and well executed by Danny.

Fingers crossed the Ferrari rumours are true as they look to be on the front foot this year or at best back to even.

Not sure Vettel will 'allow' that. Danny hosed him at their year together at Red Bull.

Either way, Danny will probably leave Red Bull. Big rumour is that they're moving to Honda Engines in 2019 and he won't want to be around for that.
