This has me very excited...
Just saw this morning that Gomez is coming to Canberra. I don't get out often but really tempted by this one.

My favourite James Reyne lyrics are from ‘ 5 in a row.’
House of Cards, Bondi tram, down-hearted, rick diam.

Hearing from a music industry friend in Sydney that next weeks Download festival is about to be postponed or cancelled. Was taking my niece to her first festival so she could see her favourite band for the first time, she’ll be devastated.

Any big Miles Davis fans here?
I like him. Chet Baker?
Chet Baker Sings is the album I will play when I finally work up the courage to ask a girl out and she comes over.

Shattered to hear of the passing of Bones Hillman, played an important part in shaping my bass playing and his playing and singing were huge for the Oils after the departure of Giffo. Vale mate, thanks for all the good times!

I’m shattered as well.
This is absolutely terrible news.
I’m still trying to grasp this, the boys have just released new music and as far as I’m aware there was no hint that Bones was crook.
In the desert in the dry
Sun sits so high
Long days mile and the radio crackles and the bones bleached white
It’s a knock em down storm
See the tin roof shake
Ha ha ha ha
Wild dog howls and long grass whistles and the tall trees break
Na na na na
I’ve seen the wild horses
I’ve heard the Bullroarer..
