Re: Game of Thrones Season 7 *Spoilers*
Might even see a alliance between the seven kingdoms against the white walkers

Eventually. But not before Danny/Jon are sitting on the iron throne.
No way Cersei will allow it

I see one of the dragons dying and becoming part of the white walker army.

Yep I've felt that for a little while now tooManchild wrote:I see one of the dragons dying and becoming part of the white walker army.
I reckon the mountain will be too. Clegene Bowl, baby!
Re: Game of Thrones Season 7 *Spoilers*
I also think that Jamie Lannister is actually going to survive and end up the united realms commander in the big battle against the white walkers
And it'll be a thing where he sort of claims back the respect as "kingslayer" because in the war for the realm he kills the night king

I have to admit in my spare time (which is ever more fleeting), reading wild theories about how this all plays out
I reckon once Sandor Clegene survives the Great War he ends up as the lord commander of the nights watch
That'd be a satisfying ending for him

Suits him to a tee. He wouldnt be happy anywhere else
Re: Game of Thrones Season 7 *Spoilers*
There were 3 giants. One died taking Winterfell by Ramsay Bolton's arrow. The other two died in the battle for Castle Black.
So the giant the walkers have is either one of them which implies they're now beyond the wall or are at least at Castle Black (why the h didn't they burn their bodies???) OR it's a giant from way back when giants were more common.

There were three giant wights with the Night King's army. Two in the background. I took them all as being giants we haven't seen before.

Dongo and Mag are the two that died in the battle for Castle Black and are the likely suspects unless it is just a giant we haven't seen as yet

This is the final season mate, if it ends like that it's an absolute disaster.Pigman wrote:My gut feel is that the final scene of this years season will be the wall coming downNorthern Raider wrote:So is Bran Stark heading back through the wall the trigger for letting the white walkers through? The wall has "ancient spells" that prevented Benjen going though. We all remember the Night King touched Bran in one of his 'trips' and that allowed them to break the spells and enter the 3 eyed raven's cave. Reckon he's invited them into the rest of Westeros now.
And NR, I read that theory recently too, I think it's probably true.

Yep. Season 8 is the last one.
Doubt GRRM will have released any more books by then so I'm taking the TV story line as gospel.

They should just make this last season one giant reunion, where everyone who's died since Season 1 is on Team Whitewalker

I actually kind of hope the series ends with the night king sitting on the iron throne haha
Re: Game of Thrones Season 7 *Spoilers*
I just hope it's not Dany. I've been rewatching and you can absolutely skip her entire plot right up until Tyrion ends up with her and it makes absolutely no difference whatsoever.

Re: Game of Thrones Season 7 *Spoilers*
I never cared for khaleesi's storyline until I read the books. In the books she's definitely built up as the end game hero. It would be cool to see the tv show go in a different direction
Re: Game of Thrones Season 7 *Spoilers*
I don't want her on the iron throne.
Re: Game of Thrones Season 7 *Spoilers*
Is the Iron Throne even going to matter at the end?
For anyone who likes fan theories, this is one of the more intriguing ones I've come across.
What's the consensus here about discussing theories? I sometimes don't like hearing about them as it feels sort of spoilery (even if it doesn't turn out to be true). I don't remember seeking out R+L=J, but I knew it before the show confirmed it (well 99% confirmed it). I feel like I would've enjoyed it more had I never read about the theory. For example, "Hold the door" blew my mind because I never in a million years would've guessed that coming.
So I'm giving a *POTENTIAL SPOILER WARNING* for the following vid.
There are some inherent paradoxes which leaves me in doubt. However, the theory is deliciously compelling and the last 4-5 mins of the video provides good evidence from the show's story telling point of view.

I haven't watched the spoiler because I really don't want much more spoiled, but I have to say I never actually thought about who the night king is
I always just assumed he was the first white walker and nobody significant

Bran is the most boring character ever. He just bores me to death.
Bran is an appropriate name for him.

Hope Cersei gets a hold of him, or the night king. Need to finish with only female Starks alive.

Cersei has catapulted herself into my good books after the events of the end of season 6. The faith militant really grinded my gears

Actually I'll go a step further. Unlike everyone else I find Arya just as boring as Bran and as stupid as John. Just leave Sansa alive thanks.
Re: Game of Thrones Season 7 *Spoilers*
Are you serious? Sansa needs to die. She's the biggest **** of the whole series.
I'm not sure Cersei will see Season 8, and she'll be the biggest loss of the series if she does die.

At least according to the show, the Night's King and the Night King are two separate entities. The former being the 13th Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, the latter being the leader of the White Walkers.
Martin has been more vague and cagey about any distinction.
