Some of the earlier seasons of Cheers were funny.. But the later seasons suck.

Never really got into Frasier.. I've watched a few episodes here and there, but never got into it

Friends is okay sometimes.. The nostalgia of being a 90s show gives it a pass mark for me.

BBT is one of the worst shows in history. The ads alone are absolute torture.

Never got into it myself. Too smug for my taste.

I have a Boston legal box set. Danny Crane is god.

I also have the Seinfeld box set, which would have to be very close to one of the best shows. Love it.

Jeez, South Park seems to be a glaring omission from that Writers Guild top 100. League of Gentlemen is awesome and I Am Not An Animal was pretty great. I reckon Frontline and The Games more than hold their own with the comedies on that list too.

I still think The Wire is the best ever, it's so broad in scope. Are there any other shows that take on structural disadvantage and public institutions? And feature Method Man? Here is an excellent article that David Simon wrote for the Baltimore Sun in '95. Shows the type of character Bubbles was based on.

Yep love em or hate em they are witty and quick *****, have an episode out within days of some event happening worthy of a show

Yep. In that industry I suspect they're consistently the smartest people in the room. Them and Louis CK anyway. Total creative control, no bosses and a great business model. Ricky Gervais managed a similar thing with Derek and Netflix, but Matt Stone and Trey Parker were on to it years ago.
