Best television program in history
Inspired by GE's Worst program thread.
It'd have to be Seinfeld, hands down.

Best television program in history
There are quite a few in that list.
I'd add Rescue Me to it also.
I'd add Rescue Me to it also.
Avatar Bet - bleedgreen99 - Raiders to make (BG99)/miss(Lucy) the 8. Avatar from last round of regular season 2015 until GF 2016.
Signature Bet - Raider85 - Raiders to get(Lucy)/miss(R85) the wooden spoon. Signature for entire offseason.
Bottle of something to the value of $70 - Matthew Borewood to not see (Lucy)/to see (Piggles) a first grade game in 2015 for the Warriors.
The Name Change Bet - Regarding the three bets above;
I win all three I keep my name.
I win one I become "the Punish"
I lose all I become "Chicken Little"

Nice one, GE.
I'd forgotten about OZ (No. 101) that was a great show I thought. Lovin that No. 94!
Weird that Southpark was considered a best written show of all time.

Curb your Enthusiasm, Arrested Development and Modern Family are 3 of the most over rated shows in history.
They should not be anywhere near this list.

Re: Best television program in history
I'm 4 out of 6 seasons through the sopranos. It's a good show, but unless the last two seasons are unreal, I don't think it should be number 1. Seinfeld, breaking bad, prison break and dexter are all better IMO

The original Star Trek, and the first 2 seasons of house are great, but the rest is pure schlock.

I used to tear my hair out watching Friends. Couldn't stand it. David Shwimmer polluting my living room.
Re: Best television program in history
Nah, he had that geeky sort of character down pat. Much more authentic than that rubbish you see on the Big Bang Theory for instance.

True. I'd watch Friends over BBT if I had to make a choice.
Re: Best television program in history
I never liked friends originally but got into it when it was on TV1. Started with episode 1, season 1,a new episode a day. Set up the old IQ box and watched it from beginning to end. It was actually pretty good.
