Worst television program in history

Post by greeneyed » February 27, 2013, 7:49 pm

So my nomination... and don't pick out turkeys... think of programs that are popular, but very bad!

The worst IMO is "Big Bang Theory". It would be challenged by "Two and a Half Men". And "The Drew Clark Show".

Avatar Bet - bleedgreen99 - Raiders to make (BG99)/miss(Lucy) the 8. Avatar from last round of regular season 2015 until GF 2016.
Signature Bet - Raider85 - Raiders to get(Lucy)/miss(R85) the wooden spoon. Signature for entire offseason.
Bottle of something to the value of $70 - Matthew Borewood to not see (Lucy)/to see (Piggles) a first grade game in 2015 for the Warriors.
The Name Change Bet - Regarding the three bets above;
I win all three I keep my name.
I win one I become "the Punish"

Freinds and Packed to the Rafters were both truly terrible in my view, however, extremely popular and successful. Deal or no Deal is another.

Some of the shows quoted are quite good really and justifiably win TV awards. But don't quote Australian shows. This is the worst TV show in HISTORY! It needs a mega audience of terrible.

Excluding the whole 'reality' show format, which is a new low all to itself, I'd nominate Two and a Half Men. I've never seen a show in which the jokes were telegraphed from further away, you can hear the rumbling in the distance and know exactly where it's going at least two minutes before the money-shot.

International:
Big Bang Theory
Carrie Diaries*
Any of the "Real Housewives" shows*
MASH - Why the hell do they keep playing this show? Surely Channel 7 have something better and more recent to smash out in it's place

Australian:
MKR - Can't stand Peter Evans, ever since his 'Activated Almonds' thing, he's stood out as a tool. I just want to watch people cook, I don't care for the backstabbing.
The Renovators - Thought it had potential, but they ruined it.
City Homicide
Anything with Daniel Macpherson in it.
Worm wrote:And just cause I can't **** stand it although its a movie and completely off topic - Anchorman..
I don't know if we can talk anymore Worm...

*I have never watched these shows, based on what I've seen on ads or The Soup
Feel free to call me RickyRicky StickStick if you like. I will also accept Super Fui, King Brad, Kid Dynamite, Chocolate-Thunda... or Brad.

Aussie shows:

ACA
Today Tonight
60 min
Any reality show format

Overseas:
Manimal - google it, it's funny
The Brady bunch
Jerry Springer

And the worst ever - Cop Rock.. It defies logic that such a show was ever conceived
