What's the career mode like, freddo??
To be honest though, I haven't had a wrestling game in about five years, and I doubt I'd buy another one...

Me too, I loved the SvR Franchise, especially the CAW modes. But once you had to do a career with you CAWS and attribute points were automatically allocated according to what you did in the ring, it lost it for meThe_Nickman wrote:What's the career mode like, freddo??

Feel free to call me RickyRicky StickStick if you like. I will also accept Super Fui, King Brad, Kid Dynamite, Chocolate-Thunda... or Brad.

Yeah I loved the Franchise mode where you battled as either Raw or Smackdown and had to pick your cards.
I guess I got that from a heavy love of Soccer manager games back in my uni days when I was generally high (on life of course)

Anyone know any small stores in Canberra that might sell black ops 2 early? Got absolutely zero plans this weekend, few days too early for it though lol.

I have been playing that a bit lately, massively addictive and massively rage inducing if you get a good life going and drop the ball or a minute or two and get picked off hahaSir Green wrote:And for the third post....

Freddo or anyone else who has WWE 13, would it be worth my $50-60 bucks? (eBay) I'm not much of a wrestling fan now, most of the current WWE roster is pretty foreign to me but I did buy WWE 12 and enjoy it. Just wondering if the upgrade is substantial enough, the Attitude Era mode looks great, because I started watching then when I was young I love that time in wrestling.

My ps3 version of league doesn't save footy factory changes or audio changes.
Is this a game fault, me fault or ps3 fault?
I only have the 1 game so don't have anything to compare to

It would seem not having the ability to share games is a dealbreaker. Half the games ive played I reckon I borrowed from mates.PrimetimeRaider wrote:Sony just killed Microsoft at E3 today
I think PS4 will win the launch, but over time Xbox One will just keep getting more exclusives. Surely the game developers would stand to make more money with Microsoft and their exclusivity, pay to share campaign which sucks.
No backwards compatability on either console sucks, but the prices are way better then I expected.

With the rll2 update we would have close to a full sponsored kit again seeing local liquor is on the shorts now

Im still waiting for the RLL2 game to drop a bit in price. It's the only game in Australia that hasn't dropped a cent
Re: The Video Game Thread
The DLC for RLL2 is now up at the PS Store - $11.75, its been up for Xbox all day I think.
The game has improved, it feels a lot more smooth, the passing is great, you can hit a lead runner with a short ball and he goes threw the gap, I put up a few bombs and your players have time to contest it this time, that was against Parra Milford is in the game but in the 20's squad, you can put him the nrl squad though, his stats are below par but I'm sure they will improve in a franchise.

Don Bradman Cricket 14 is Big Ant’s Big Honour
“The Bradman name comes with incredible responsibility” are the succinct words of Big Ant Studios CEO Ross Symons in today announcing that their cricket game will bear the name of the greatest ever cricket player, under license from the Bradman Foundation in Bowral.
Home Entertainment Suppliers Pty Ltd (HES) will join Big Ant Studios as publisher for Don Bradman Cricket 14 with a release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PCs later this year. HES Managing Director Sebastian Giompaolo describes the use of Bradman’s name as an honour,
It is indeed an honour to be able to bring the greatest player to a technology savvy generation of fans in what promises to be the greatest cricket game of all time.
Big Ant Studios have been working hard on this title for four years and we at HES are really excited with what they have been able to achieve. It is far superior to any cricket game in the market.
The development team at Big Ant Studios also recognise the weight the name will carry for them, with CEO Ross Symons commenting ‐
The entire Big Ant Studios team understand that with the Bradman name comes incredible responsibility, we are all sincerely dedicated to bringing Cricket fans from all nations the Cricket gaming experience of their lives. We consider it the greatest of honours to develop the game that bears the name of the best player of all time, Bradman.
Historical kit items, a sepia tone filter and Don Bradman’s likeness in the game will allow players to recreate his record-breaking career, while the game’s career mode will let them chart their own path through the ranks to International glory.
Other game features confirmed so far include,
# Unique Batting and Bowling Controls, giving full 360 Shot control and Line and Length
delivery without pitch markers.
# A fully featured fielding system that allows you to run down the ball and slide to prevent a
Four, catch a high ball on the boundary rope, or knock down the stumps to take a vital run
out. You are always involved in the play at every stage of the game!
# Ball Physics giving realistic Edges, bat pad catches and movement off the pitch.
# A complete player physics system with individual attributes including weight and height ‐
imagine running in a 2 metre bowler to delivery that perfect bouncer!
# Appeal and Electronic Review system allowing for the first time challenges of the umpires
decision.
# Practice Nets, Hone your skills to perfection before taking to the field.
# Dynamic time of day, Weather System and Pitch Degradation that are based on real world
data with effects occurring in real-time throughout a days・ play.
# The Cricket Academy, allowing for unparalleled customisation of your Cricket experience,
creating Teams, players, Tours, Competitions, Match Types and even Umpires.
# More than 4000 Community created Players and teams ready to download and use in game.
# An online Save system that lets you continue your match whenever you want with online
opponents.
More details on Don Bradman Cricket 14 will be announced over the coming month, so until then you can discuss this announcement in our forums or keep updated with the latest cricket games news on our Twitter feed.

The last cricket game i got was Ricky Ponting 2005. Was fun to play, but you couldnt run out the opposition, lacked realistic features and didnt have an automatic skip bowling function (which should be the absolute first feature of every cricket game)
