No, but some of the most emotional music you will hear is on there. As one poster on YouTube said. 32:28. Give it time, listen right through.

Foxtel cutting content and channels... no price reductions. “New” channels simply rebranding existing rubbish.

Foxtel is currently charging me $249 a month for Platinum plus unlimited broadband.

They are now offering $139 Platinum Plus, plus Netflix, plus unlimited broadband for $65 a month to new customers.

And they’ve never offered me a new package.

250 a month... that's a lot of money to watch tv... get a hobby mate. Why don't you come and try tai chi or take up golf, or bridge, lawn bowls...

It includes unlimited broadband... but it’s certainly a lot compared to what they’re now charging new customers!

I’m at the point where I’m considering downgrading my Foxtel to basics and sport. We don’t watch enough Fox these days to justify the platinum package.

Plus we have Stan, Amazon and Netflix, so we figure the cost will probably balance out
Feel free to call me RickyRicky StickStick if you like. I will also accept Super Fui, King Brad, Kid Dynamite, Chocolate-Thunda... or Brad.

I’ve investigated further too... I’m heading down the path of somehow making it a lot cheaper. Their broadband is costing $95 a month, when they’re now charging $65 or $75 at worst to new customers.

The Foxtel packages are now constructed completely differently. The cost breakdown shows they are charging me $29 for sport when their graphic besides the item says they charge $25 for it! I’m being charged $139 for Platinum Plus, whereas a new customer is charged that for everything including Netflix and free IQ4!

Yeah that’s crazy. I’m paying $218 a month for platinum HD + Unlimited Broadband through Telstra.

We sat down and went through what shows we watch, and 99% of the shows we watch are either FTA or on the standard package. If it wasn’t for Canberra games, I’d probably ditch it all together

Getting rid of Foxtel and jumping to Kayo is one of the better moves I've made recently. I guess the older generation are a bit different but my household hasn't been watching programmed television for several years now. Unless you're someone without the internet I find it outrageous people aren't watching everything on demand so to speak. The only thing I was worried about losing was Sky Racing but you can stream/cast it from the TAB site anyway.

My 6 year old lost her **** when on holidays recently when the ads came on during a kids program when we were in an airbnb without wifi. She didn't know what they were and couldn't understand why they were there.
well, I guess you could say that I'm buy curious.

Dont worry, ads will come

Im old enough to remember why my dad first got Foxtel.
No ads in between shows, at the end of shows, to chew up the time between one show and the next they'd run promos for what was on other channels or coming up later on that channel etc...

And by the time i cut the cord, Foxtel had as many ads as FTA. I dont for ONE second believe Netflix and it's ilk wont end up the same

Mine have watched mostly abc kids but Netflix too. If we watch a movie on another channel they quickly lose interest because of the ads.

I don't even have free-to-air tv anymore. My antenna blew down in either the cyclone or some other storm somewhere in the last five years and I didn't even notice.

When I said Anna was a gem, I meant she seems like a genuine and nice person, who cares about other people and demonstrates it with her actions.

You missed Jamie, he was a blast.
There was one guy who was one of the favourites to win, but he left when he found out his Grandmother passed. He’d be here in the final for sure.

I think it’s the bald guy’s to lose. They’ve been chatting each other up on Instagram for about a year
