So the banking royal commission has revealed some incredibly shoddy behaviour but I think we all need to give a special shout out to Miranda Devine for somehow finding a way to blame the gays for all of this..

Apparently 18 months of getting onboard the yes campaign and getting the intern to fire off a few pro marriage equality tweets meant there was no time and resources to ensure decades of rorting wasn't occurring..

I had no idea it was an either or situation.

I expect the far right of the liberal party to knife Turnbull for not calling this sooner as they lost the chances to run "Would you rather marriage equality of bank staff no longer forging signatures of customers"

Who knows if they ran those ads they might have only lost by 2.5 Million votes...

Maybe worthy of it's own thread but everybody loves a few soundbites from Barnaby, you should share some of his more entertaining tweets? He is the modern day Sir Joh Bjelke-Peterson.

Still trying to work this one out.

So were are going to legalise pot which is directly related to a sugar tax. I thought part of the reason they were going to make it legal was to tax it and use it as a revenue raiser. Although it appears we are going to have a sugar tax to give everyone free weed. :hmmm

Not sure free weed is a good idea! Makes me think of "Brave New World".
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

A fat tax and a regulated legal cannabis industry are sound, evidence based health initiatives that also raise money.

I used to support many of the Greens environmental policies but they now focus on aspirational goals not pragmatic solutions for the environment.

The local guy Rattenbury talks about low socio economic issues and then ignores the outer suburban working poor and supports a policy that assists rich inner city residents such as himself.

The Greens seem to be more focused on legalising Marajuana than saving the Barrier Reef.

I’m just happy to see the Greens finally get on board, over the years they’ve had falling outs with both the Sex Party and HEMP party over their unwillingness to support recreational cannabis.

Hopefully the next sound evidence based policy they’ll turn around on is e-cigarettes.

Pfizer should make dingas.

Maybe 'weekender' combo packs. An eccie and a cialis for a 'hard out' weekend away.

Shelve a few "green victors" before Stereosonic, brah.

In all seriousness, Viagra could be the jersey sponsor in honour of our hard D.
