I'd say the far left are just as responsible for Trumps rise as the far right are.
I bow down to thee oh great Nickman, the wisest of the wise, your political adroitness is unsurpassed, your sagacity is unmatched, your wisdom shines through on this forum amongst us mere mortals as bright as your scalp under the light of a full moon, never shall I doubt your analytical prowess again. You are my hero, my lord, my savior, may you accept my offerings so you continue to bless us with your genius.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

To be fair shifty, you could probably get 2000 rednecks from qld to sign a petition to allow guns at the equivalent Australian convention (which would be the same proportion to total populations).

So of all the stats/facts that highlight america's issues with gun control, this is not the best one.

I actually don't think you would find that.

Even if you went to the far North Queensland I don't think you would find people who would want to take their gun to a Bob Kattar event. I don't even think you'd find many that would want to openly carry them down the street.

Then again the only person from North Queensland I know is the ultra left wing Nickman...

Pretty cool website. No surprises. I am 97% compatible with Sanders. 27% with Trump and is last Cruz with 22%.

They have one for Australia as well.

As we would all expect, I am a far better rounded individual than GEM;

Sanders 90%
Clinton 88%
Trump 59%
Cruz 31%

So you're a fence sitter? Or is that a reflection of the two major parties being super similar?

I'm fairly sure I'm not a fence sitter :)

I normally tend towards Labor (or even to the left of them) on most social issues, and am fairly strongly the other way on economic stuff. I think that came out fairly clearly in the survey.

What I'm NOT is 60% Green, in that I have, you know, a job. And shower a bit.

He has been doing well lately! For some reason Clinton was slightly higher for me when I tried the quiz. Both Clinton and Sanders were high 90s though.

Greens and Labor drammatically outweighed the LNP in the Australian one, so definitely not similar :p

So, politically speaking, you're perpetually 19 years old, lying around in your filthy sharehouse, smoking pot and bitching about Centrelink to GEM.

I think the putting some social issues as most important skewed that.

One post on this only as I don't want to derail the thread.

Schifty must say I'm surprised and disappointed, with even the UNs experts calling for all drugs to be legalised/decriminalised in their members countries, the examples around the world of it working etc that someone like yourself would vote against even pot, guess the experts have a long way to go if even you are against it :doubt:

TR, Nickman and co troll away, I'll ignore :)
