Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

the real conspiracy is why flat earth is discussed amongst conspiracy communitiesgergreg wrote:There are always redacted sections in these reports, usually for Privacy reasons - i.e.. names of people documenting a report, and these redactions always give conspiracy theorists something to cling to. I think it is a little sad really. There are some things throughout history that deserve further investigation as they probably fail the 'pub test' then along comes flat earth and it just makes the wholeThe Nickman wrote:So who else tips that the JFK files come out and reveal absolutely nothing astonishing?
'conspiracy theory community' look like a bunch of nut jobs. Hmmm sounds like a good conspiracy theory in itself.

I would love for someone to do an Amazing Race style reality show where a bunch of flat earthers race to find the edge of the earthManbush wrote:Spoiler: The Earth is not flat.
But US rapper B.o.B. is crowd-funding the launch of satellites to see if he can get some evidence to the contrary.
The rapper, whose real name is Bobby Ray Simmons Jr, has been a vocal proponent of the Flat Earth theory - the claim the Earth is, in fact, a disc and not spherical.
Some proponents of the Flat Earth theory claim NASA employees guard the edge of the world to prevent people falling off.

Re: Press for truth
Holy ****! This thread is still going? Better yet there's like 10 pages of people saying how much they miss me! Well, I wouldn't want to disappoint you all so...
Just want to place on the record that I am definitely NOT a Flat Earther or anything else like that that may or may not have been attributed to me in the insane ramblings that have gone on here while I have been away from this delightful forum. I am a strong supporter of science. I have said what I said in this thread ages ago and stand by it all but to somehow link me or this thread to whacko conspiracy theories is just ridiculous and shows just how desperate some of you were and apparently still are. It's actually kinda sad that you lot are still in here all these years later going on about it TBH. Oh well, at least you're keeping yourselves amused I guess.

We kept it warm for you. Truth is this thread has been a sad parody of it's former glory without your presence.

Flat earthers destroy Big Bang science and reveal “Pac Man” theory at UK convention.

Somehow I don’t think they understand what a scientific theory is.

Re: Press for truth
Ok can’t believe we have a conspiracy thread and no one mentioned QAnon
QAnon believers think Trump got COVID on purpose because of course they do
You might think that QAnon followers, who believe the coronavirus pandemic is fake, might have been a bit upset with their hero, President Donald Trump, when he confirmed he had contracted the virus.
But you’d be wrong.
Instead they are “giddy” because they think Trump is using it as a cover to (what else?) arrest Hillary Clinton.
Multiple QAnon supporters highlighted what they saw as a hidden message in Trump’s own tweet confirming his positive test. The accounts pointed to the word “together” suggesting what Trump really meant was “to get her” in reference to Hillary Clinton.

I dipped my toe in over at Pete Evans' Facebook page.
They are excited. They believe he has the virus, and pretty much rambling about what Bushy posted.

Re: Press for truth
You guys are doing this thread all wrong. If you're posting conspiracy theories you have to actually believe it and defend them to the hilt.
