OK ...

1. Why do I get logged out sometimes, therefore having to log back in ??

2. Is there a way to stop that pop-up ad coming up.

3. When you press the refresh button shouldnt it just refresh that page, ie not go back to the main index page.

Answers are required otherwise I'm packing up my mouse and going home :? :?:

There it goes again ... I press the IE refresh button, up pops the pesky ad, back to the main index page and I'm logged out.

I want answers quick otherwise I'll be asking for re-admission to LU

Bay. Don't press IE refresh to refresh the page.

The thing to do is click on "Canberra Raiders Forum Forum Index" or the title of the sub board like "Social Page" at the top of the thread.

1. Not sure about this one

2. The pop-up ad is how Raider 69 is able to bring you this site for nothing.

3. Don't log in via the .tk address, use the hostmybb.com address. Then when you click "refresh" it should heep you on the same page you're on.

actually using that URL solves all the problems ... is there ary reason we should use anything other than that URL.

canberraraiders.tk is obviously easier to remember, especially for new people.

true but once the other is in your favourites its just a click.

I will use the canberraraiders.tk if I'm at a free terminal at the club, shops, etc

I'm the same. canberraraiders.tk is just an easier way to spread the word about the forums.

Ill do my best to answer this

1. there is a time limit to ensure that if you leave yourself logged in and leave the computer it logs you out so others cant **** around. This can be changed :D

2. Other than a pop up protector no, this is a free forum so advertising pop ups are unfortunatly here to stay, i suggest you hit www.google.com and download their pop up bar :)

3. This i believe happens due to the domain name, because as im sure you've noticed the address doesnt change so when you refresh it takes to the main page. I can delete the domain name and we can revert to normally addressing.

www.canberraraiders.tk is just a nice simple URL for promotion, people will remember that, in a sticky ive asked that all bookmark the other URL but also if you at a PC that doesnt have this site bookmarked or in the history then that domain will come in handy

Hope this clears some **** up

You should all use Mozilla Firefox rather than IE... its riddled with security flaws and bugs. Firefox also has 'tabbed browsing' so you can have multiple windows open inside the one window (if that makes sense)... so you dont have 50000 things open on your start bar. Just hold control while you click a link and a new 'tab' opens up... so you could have each forum open in a different tab and alternate between them.
