Yeah, so I guess what I'm asking is - is there anyway to cast two different channels (e.g. a league match and a cricket match) to two different TVs at the same time? Sounds like not?

I think of you have 2 devices logged in and two tvs capable of streaming that should be possible, but I haven’t tried.

Oh, yeah you should be able to

It would be the same as two people casting Foxtel Go

Yeah I thought so, I just have to figure out how to get it working - it's not obvious in the app. Maybe I just need to login from two different phones and cast to each TV separately.

I doubt you would be able to do it from one device - but phone and laptop at the same time for example is likely.

Hi all, if you are thinking of getting Kayo they are offering 3 months for free if you are a member of Beteasy. I just got a text and signed up.

I have Foxtel IQ4, which has all the streaming features, does anyone think I’ll be better off if I drop the Sports Package and sign up to Kayo? I think the prices are comparable

I pay premium price for Foxtel now. I don't see why I don't get Kayo for free. It's exactly the same thing... isn't it?

Just checking if they have different sports, any features Foxtel don’t have etc. $25 Kayo vs $29 Sports package. If Kayo is essentially the same, then yeah why would I do it

No it doesn't have any additional content, or content that doesn't get shown on Fox or ESPN

For me the rest of foxtel is rubbish and I can download any TV shows I want.

Me too. I cancelled Foxtel in feeble protest over some content on Sky News that did my head in, but it was a huge own goal in so far as watching sport is concerned.

Having Kayo is brilliant. My son and I sat up last night watching obscure archival games of touch footy. I replaced all the TVs in the house so we can use the app directly. Life is good.

Yep and I have confirmed you can stream two different channels to two different TVs so long as you use different phones to do so.

Does anyone have Kayo? Telstra says I can have it for $5 a month for 12 months. Do I miss out on anything important if I already have Foxtel Platinum?

I'm unlikely to let go of Foxtel... so I guess my question is... what content would I get that I don't get on Foxtel. If the answer is nothing, there's not much point signing up. I've found it hard to work out what content Kayo actually offers.

I think there's nothing on Kayo that isn't on Foxtel. I bought my dad Kayo as a birthday present and he said there was nothing on it he could use, so we cancelled it.

Kayo is fantastic if you don't have Foxtel on Demand... redundant if you do.

I've had Kayo for over 2 years now and couldnt speak more highly of it
Great service, and between it, Disney and Netflix ive got a ton of entertainment options for about half the cost of foxtel

As others above have said, the rest of the channels outside of sport were totally worthless for me, literally never touched them. So now i've got the sport at a reasonable price and other streaming services leave foxtel channels for dead

Agreed. But if GE is keeping Foxtel there’s no point having Kayo as well.

Yeah, i missed the question to just wax lyrical about Kayo
I agree, if you're committed to foxtel you're just throwing money away for kayo

I got rid of FOXTEL half way through last season and went to Kayo, haven’t looked back. Foxtel’s full of absolute Trollope shows. You can also just get binge that has all of foxtel’s other content for $8 a month I believe.

Yeah, but I like the lifestyle shows and other stuff like that. So getting rid of Foxtel is too tough a choice.

Have a look at binge and see if the cheaper plan would work for u.. it's foxtel content but not all of it.. I still have foxtel now pop would have gone the cheaper binge plan but my wife watches Wentworth which isn't on binge but the other shows we watch are.. annoying to not switch for just one show

I turned Foxtel off a few years ago in February when I realised I hadn’t even turned it on once since October, not even once!

Since then, I activate Kayo a day before the first raiders game (as I will tomorrow) and turn it off again as soon as we lose our last.

Haven’t looked back since.

I use it for NRL and Motogp, once they are done I'm off.
Mrs Bone watches Netflix or Stan then the kids have disney+ and all of these still cheaper than Foxtel.

We have Netflix, Stan, Amazon Prime, I pay for youtube without ads, and we have Kayo during footy season and use Lucy's Disney+ log-in.

And it's all STILL combined cheaper and better than Foxtel!

Man the youtube without ads is on my radar. They've been really aggressive with the ads lately. Slowly wearing me down.

I've been paying for it for years, it's like about the price of two schooners a month or something.

Totally worth it when you watch as much youtube as I do.

I share kayo with my inlaws and they share binge to us.
I'm close to paying premium with youtube music as Google play music transitioned but already have amazon and spotify
