I personally love my name, Nickman... just rolls off the tongue.
On another note, I have never called Lucy Wayne, and never will, and I prefer Fergus to Steve, so that's what I'll be calling GE from now on.

My mum had Brad picked as a name since she was a kid. Dad hated it, but compromised with Bradley. Growing up, I’ve always been called Brad, to my old mans annoyance.
I remember in Primary school when we brought our recorders home, the teacher stuck some masking tape on my recorder cover and wrote “Brad” on it. When dad saw it, he went to the shed, got some masking tape, stuck it to the end and wrote “ley” on it.
I’m another Brad (technically Bradley but mums the only one that calls me it).
I bow down to thee oh great Nickman, the wisest of the wise, your political adroitness is unsurpassed, your sagacity is unmatched, your wisdom shines through on this forum amongst us mere mortals as bright as your scalp under the light of a full moon, never shall I doubt your analytical prowess again. You are my hero, my lord, my savior, may you accept my offerings so you continue to bless us with your genius.
There were 2 Wayne's in my class at high school. Had a boss named Wayne too. He was really ugly, had green and black things on his teeth, and got sacked for stealing
I was the last person in the country, and possibly the world, to be named Ian. It became horrendously unfashionable at around mid-afternoon on November 21, 1974, and has never made a come back.
Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

I have also only met 5 other Wayne's under the age of 60. It really is a **** horrible name.

When my parents had us they wanted names that couldn’t be made fun of with initials etc. Brother was going be Wayne but WC would be outhouse so they made him Jason and used Wayne as middle name, they thought Bradley Ian would be safe but when grandpa visited mum in hospital the first thing he said was how’s ballpoint, parents didn’t even think about BIC, least I’m named after the two most stolen things, pens and lighters.
