Nice of GE to share a picture of one of his cats to try and cheer nickman up! Never let it be said that he doesn't have a sense of humour!

My favourite part of it all was when he paid me my money.
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

So which segments go where now? If it's football related does it go here? Frank's upset now, he wants everyone to know he takes this game seriously!

I, for one, look forward to the return of endless team lists in the preview thread! Now that's entertainment!

Sorry, I showed some flexibility and it was taken advantage of, with rubbish filling the Teams and Previews thread. So I need to redraw the boundary.

My favorite segment is "mass deletions" by the mods, great segment, well thought out and a credit to the site.

Still hoping for the return of Luftys late night drunken segment "edit".

So the challenge her is to write a hard hitting piece with some subtle jokes in it that GE won't pick up on.

I think we are going to need some kind of a forum judiciary to determine what is a joke segment and what is a serious football segment.

For example some people would argue that any segment that rates brenko Lee over Radradra has to be a joke despite being clearly football related.

This is a big can of worms!

All "segments" here gangrenous. You can de-segment your segment and make it footy related... in the footy boards.

Maybe we just need an alternative teams and previews that has all the favourite segments, banter and shenanigans.

Where people can combine their love for the raiders, serious football discussion, mindless banter and a plethora of segments spored from the pure enjoyment of supporting a team that doesn't suck for the first time in about 15 years!

Hang on, I guess this is that thread!

This ruling seems as grey as touching refs!

Ol' Pigman is feeling up refs left right and centre and gets the Jarryd Hayne treatment! Gangers accidentally brushes a ref and he's sent to the lime lounge with carry over points and loading!
