Apps that have changed your life
Topic says it all, what apps do you use that have changed your life? I'm always looking for new and cool apps. The ones I've found that I couldn't live without are...
1. Hey You
This app is an online ordering app. My Coffee shop uses this, and it allows me to order my coffee and within 4 minutes of ordering its waiting for me. Saves me waiting in line. It's linked to my credit card as well, which means I never need to worry about having cash on me anymore. Plus it still uses the same loyalty system, so every 10th coffee is free.
Soul Origin is also heavily involved in it as well.
2. 7-11 Fuel
This one is a new one I've found, but pretty cool. Basically what it does is scan your local 7-11 Servos and allows you to lock in the cheapest fuel price for 7 days.
3. Untappd
This one is a pretty cool beer rating app. I didn't need any more encouragement to drink beer, but this has done it for me. Basically you try a beer, rate it out of 5 and it records it and shares it with friends. You can unlock badges for different achievements etc. It also recommends beers for you based on your ratings.
So what apps are you using, and what can't you live without?

Re: Apps that have changed your life
Hmmm.. not many have changed my life but I'll name a couple of my favourites.
Poweramp Music Player - I tried about a dozen Android music players before settling on this one. It has plenty of user made skins to choose from and as the name suggests, it gives you a lot of control over the sound.
Stumble Upon - This app brings you to a new Internet page (based on your interests) with the click of a button. Great to cure boredom.

ABC KIDS, Youtube, Taparalk, Ebay and book of faces. Twitter used to be used but it is full of wankers given a voice.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

Would people like a branded GH App? The one we have now is not that great. Tapatalk offer a branded app, but it would cost the site $120 a year. Demand? Views? It doesn't look like it'd do much more than tapatalk tbh.

I don't think a branded app is necessary. It works great on tapatalk as it is.

Re: Apps that have changed your life
Tapatalk is a lot easier on a phone than Safari too, just quietly.

On topic though useful apps for me, the NRL so I can watch games even if I'm at work or anywhere else, Blendr for obvious reasons, YouTube, Facebook, any of the gps apps for when I'm in new places, translator app has been very handy at work with all the tourists we get.
