Iphone 6 preorder

Post by -TW- »

Never usually fan girl over a phone , but I thought I'd get in on the hype for the 6

Anyone else attempt to order one?

I was lucky and expected the site to crash so I sat on twitter where people were releasing back door links so I got mine pretty quickly

My battery was crap.

And of course it wasnt on their list of faulty batteries.

I got the S5. It absolutely smashes the IPhone and I have 1000s dollars worth of apple in the house.

Its funny how Apple users made fun of Samsung for their big phones, then Apple goes and makes their phones bigger.

I love my ipad and iphone, but I'm not an Apple "fan", just these devices are great to use.

I've used iPhones for several years now. Very happy with them but I'm not a fanboy either. The main reason I keep getting them is ease of restoring my entire phone - contacts, apps etc, every time I get a new one.

As for their robustness I left one in the slush of an Eski for about 8 hours once. It killed it and I ended up getting a new iPhone. Did the old in a container or rice trick for a week or so and then tried it after leaving it in a draw for another month and it worked perfectly. Although I don't recommend trying that out.

I don't know how that guy kept a straight face..

Meanwhile it seems apple has sent U2's album to every Iphone in the world?

Even appeared on my Ipod.

Isn't it great to know that someone can download files to your device without your consent.. I mean there's no way in this world anyone could in any way use this power for evil...

It never appeared on my phone, but that's because I turned the iTunes cloud off a long time ago to save myself from the abominable iTunes music purchases I made when I was 12...

My first one was **** great. Loved it. It was my first smartphone after moving from a Nokia N95
That's why i stuck with HTC. Im one of those guys who just gets what knows until it fails... my second HTC was a fiasco. I ended up paying out the contract early to get rid of it.

People making a public nuisance of themselves lining up for 24hrs out the front of a store should have their organs donated to medical research.

Question, would this have anything to do with a so-called Smart Phone manufacturer's retail outlets?
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.

The first person to walk away with an iPhone 6 in Perth managed to drop his on concrete while talking to 9 News. He didn’t even get a chance to turn it on. Luckily for him though, it didn’t seem to smash.

Can't blame the bloke, I would've done the same. The pressure of opening a box with the whole country watching would've been too much for me.

Snowden: iPhones Have Secret Spyware That Lets Govt's Monitor Unsuspecting Users

The NSA whistleblower's lawyer says the secret software can be remotely activated to watch the user.

The iPhone has secret spyware that lets governments watch users without their knowledge, according to Edward Snowden.

The NSA whistleblower doesn’t use a phone because of the secret software, which Snowden’s lawyer says can be remotely activated to watch the user.

Apple has been active in making the iPhone harder for security services to spy on, and the company said that iOS 8 made it impossible for law enforcement to extract users’ personal data, even if they have a warrant. The company has also been active in campaigning for privacy reform after the Snowden revelations, joining with Facebook and Google to call for changes to the law.
