Under the new code, the hot water setting is set to a temperature that avoids scalding. The only problem is, I have to have the shower on almost full “hot” to get a hot shower. And the water pressure is low. Plus to get hot water in the kitchen and laundry... it is cooler than I’d like. Any solutions?
As Nickman said, usually there's a way to increase the temp on the unit - if you haven't already.

With the water pressure, if you've got a shower head then open it up and see if there's a flow restrictor that can be removed. Will usually increase the flow a lot.

The Nickman wrote: June 8, 2021, 10:47 am Yeah, we use Teams all the time but we don't use the chat function that much... it does seem like any other group chatting service though, so why not just use it?

I don't understand your leader's opposition to it.
Yeah we're opposite. We've been all over the chat function, not using the Teams function. We're now starting to migrate over though.

I kind of get it, we're getting to the point where he has 1 chat group for the leadership group, 1 chat group for our team etc etc. Now there's 1 Teams Group for leadership group, 1 for the whole function, 1 for our team etc.

So its kind of creeping up, he'd like to see it all compiled, to avoid losing who said what where. We're basically going to say for any work-related announcement, doc sharing etc use teams. For **** shooting, use chat

The chat function is great. Our team is split between Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. It’s been a good way to keep in touch with everyone, and venting about some of the crazy ideas that come into our inbox

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

I'd better handle it. Here's a photo of a dominant pied grey budgie, which was the first thing that came up in my gallery.
