My MIL went to a Melbourne Cup luncheon the other day and was back home way before the race..

When she came home I said" What's doin ?"

"Oh, I have no interest in horse racing" she says.

Just went for the cake...

Boney cricket update. Listed at 11 dnb. Dropped a reasonable low chance at cover opener on 10ish made 70odd not out., failed to defend 180 off 40 overs.
Poor day.

Other than the hot water tap not working, is there a way to tell if your hot water tank is cactus? Is there any other trouble shooting I can do?

4 day weekend for me. Had some spare flex days I needed to get rid of before I lost them.
Come back to work Tuesday, then have an interview for another team. Fingers crossed I ace it, and life can start in a new field of work

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

A fly entered a empty stubby bottle and was clearly drunk after trying to crawl it's way up the glass to freedom. I was egging it on...go you good thing.

But about 3/4 the way way up it stopped..and died..

Interview went alright, I’ve been asked to come back for a 2nd interview. Trying to determine if that means I’m closer to being in than being out.

How big of a low life scumbag must you be to think it's ok to vandalise a cemetery..

Wake up to yourself you worthless muppets. One day someone close to you will be buried there...

Broken glass, marble headstones either smashed of sprayed with paint.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from these bottom feeders.

Took Mack and Cheese to a dog park yesterday. One of the dogs, a big cattle dog looking thing, got a bit Agro and roughed Cheese up. We got her out before it got too much. The cattle then went on to try and have a go at some others, before the collection of owners got together and told the Cattle owner to keep them on leash or GTFO.

Cheese is alright luckily. Little skiddish around bigger dogs at the moment. Hopefully it’s nothing permanent and she’s back to her social self in no time.

Just went into town..Nobbys beach.

The crew are in there ripping down the race track from last weekend.

It's a mess..roads closed everywhere..can't turn right here..can't turn left here.

Finally made it to the beach car park after sweet talking some heavily tattooed freak to swing the gate open..

It's a nightmare..

He's got a big patch on his tummy too, which was shaved off a couple of weeks ago when he had to have an ultrasound as he was having trouble urinating. Thankfully was nothing serious like a blockage, and he's back to normal now , minus his belly hair.
