What a drawn out event..a lot of sitting around.
I got selected a few months ago. I was meant to check daily for about 4 weeks to see if I was required.

But in ACT you have to ring up a number the day before to see if you attend..

Day 1: "Your panel is not required"

Day 2: "Your panel has been discharged"

It's all done online now Schifty, they ask you to check after 4-30pm the day before.

In NSW, the fine for not wearing a helmet while riding a pushy is $337.
In WA the fine for the same offence is $50.

True stat.

If drink driving is so frowned upon..why do pubs and clubs have car parks ?

Also..why does Hawaii have interstate highways ? Where are they going ?

And..do prison buses have emergency exits ?

You know those morbidly obese people who need a crane to get them out of bed, has a NHL team ever considered sticking a pair of skates on them and using a crane to plonk them in front of the goals?

I do have an opal card. I'm might get on the bus and go check out the Argenton Hotel.

Recent renovations have the place looking great from the outside.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

The schnitty was great guys..

Truely was.

It was chicken with a splash of gravy and fresh salad.

And half a dozen beers.

The new Argy pub is very nice. It had been closed since January for a much needed face lift.

It opened again last week, I drive past it twice a day all week. Had to drop in. Well worth it.

Wow..just UNBELIEVEABLE.

Hidden cameras in rooms clearly showing carers slapping elderly people..

I'd be ropeable and on a search and destroy mission if anyone treated my loved ones like this.

I don't watch the ABC. Putrid lefty wacko network.

I have seen videos of carers hitting the elderly. It's disgusting, and frankly they should be publicly shamed.

Then handed over to the families for retribution.

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

They did name and shame one carer. A 59yr old woman. She was sacked and given 18months home detention.

I could name her..4corners did. The whole country knows her name.
