MB, what's the deal with the Kirin? My wife and I were puzzling over this yesterday - it seems to be everywhere at the moment. Does anyone actually like the stuff??
Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

I can confirm that eating frozen cocktails out of a bucket with a spoon is indeed satisfying.
Is it wrong to be consuming alcohol this early?

You know contrary to popular belief, I generally don't keep any beer at home, as I only ever drink there at parties. Not in the habit of drinking by myself ever.Tim W wrote:I had images of you having a Woolworths sized cool room as your beer fridgeThe Nickman wrote:You have a balcony beer fridge??

Having said that I've got almost two cartons of XXXX Gold leftover from my party Saturday night but no way I'm drinking that ****. Actually there's a fair chance mates of mine are at my place right now finishing them off anyway.
Re: Drinking...
Relax peoples. One drink and then a nanna nap before heading off. If I kept drinking I'd be just like one of my patients.

Well I'm drinking beer with my dad and brother watching the t20 after a big day of test cricket and beers.
Been a great couple of days, heading back home tomorrow morning for two days before heading to Newcastle for New Year's.

Would you believe someone abused me for calling a 4 wheel bike a quad, supposedly insensitive to quadriplegics, meant to call em ATVs now

I'm pretty sleep deprived, so not sure myself I'm pretty sure that I agree with your sentiment but am fearful of turning into one of Ray Martins little battlers

Can't say I've ever heard the term 'quad' used in relation to a quadriplegic.
Got my first mini bike off my pop when I was about 5 or 6 so my dad wanted to get my little bloke his too , was a bit sceptical he was ready but smashed it on his own today he has ligament laxity which affects balance and judgement thus the 4 wheeler but just took to it like a duck to water

I remember a three wheel bike on the farm growing up. They were awfully dangerous. They're banned now right?
