This thread was retired 2 years ago for various reasons, however I wanted to briefly share some images and a video I put together of a 6 week trip 3 years in the making I did earlier this year to Iceland, Norway and Italy. Probably some of the greatest stuff I have captured. It involved 200km of hiking and more than 2 weeks of camping across the 3 countries, predominantly spent in the mountains. It was a truly humbling experience. Enjoy.

Now, back to retirement.

Some great pics there, looks like a magical place. Did you use an iPhone or Samsung for the pics?

Lucky you listed the countries that you went to. Otherwise I thought it was a few quick shots with a Polaroid around Mt Taylor and Lake Tuggeranong.

P.S. amazing photos Azza

Spectacular work mate.
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Thanks... that'll be it for now, not planning to keep it updated as it's more something I do when I travel nowadays - so the camera was basically resting for 2 and a half years - and I love Steven

I was going to buy something but you wanted $4,000 for a postage stamp sized print. I'm at the other side of the bridge so couldn't afford that.

I still can't remember who you are.

Regardless, I very much doubt I ever quoted $4,000. not even close, but most people don't realise that printing, mounting and framing high-resolution images is not a cheap thing - the result is stunning, but I barely make a penny on it.

I'm joking of course. I think it was $400 for a 40-50cm print. Still, I really like most of your stuff. Me and the wife paint these days so they occupy the walls.

My wifes great grandmother painted and we have a potrait she did of my FIL when he was 9 years, she apparently painted it when she was looking after him when he had the chicken pox, he looks like it too he's looking miserable , but it's a tremendous painting... but i was staggered by what it cost to get it framed.

Yeah nowadays with the cost of living my target audience for actually buying framed prints is pretty much people like the owner of this site , unfortunately I don't have any pics of the bus stop at tuggers , no one else actually has the cash...
