Went through Maccas drive through this afternoon, the girl at the counter tells me "That's $20 Darl" I cringed.

My advice - People under the age of 40 should not address anyone as Darl
yeah, **** off you young *****! One of the few advantages of being an old **** is being able to use darl without threat of some kinda harassment charge. It devalues the whole thing if these whippersnappers start throwing it around. I've earnt the right to use darl. And get off my lawn!

It's official - we in this country will whinge about anything and everything. She could have called you ****, ****, ****, ****, **** or even ****, but she called you darl, and you've taken offence?

I mean, really. That's done me.
Not offended and not whinging, I just think from a young person it just sounds bogan.

So cringeworthy. I think anyone who starts using expressions like that at a young age doesn't have much of a future to look forward to.

Really, it's a public service announcement

Good question. It was this new Crispy Chicken burger with bacon on a brioche bun. Wasn't too bad. Definitely buy it again

I think people who own 4x4 cars but never take them where they are designed to drive are just the worst human beings alive

If you drive all over the country side with a camper van or what ever, that's fine.
But you're one of those ***** who buys one and has never driven it outside of suburbia and city, you can get absolutely **** and you need to sort it out. Sort it right out!

That's one of my bugbears.. And there is a correlation between 4x4 drivers in the city and lack of driving ability

I get really annoyed where they're so big, they barely fit into a parking space, and you barely get out of the car as they're parked so close to the line.

Half the 4x4 built/sold wouldn't be able to go off road.

They are built for soccer mums

I agree with all of the last three posts. 4WD drivers are the worst, and they often say they drive them because they "feel safer"

Well, when you're statistically a lot more likely to be involved in an accident, you're not **** safer at all, are you??

EDIT: the last three posts before Rra

Stand up desks, sit down you frigging idiots and stop making everyone uncomfortable and reading over their shoulders.

It's just rude.

Used to be, they are just the latest fad now, like those big balloons people used to sit on that turned out to be really bad for you.

There should be a special reserve down the back of parking lots where all the 4X4s and other big vehicles should be banished to, leaving the rest to civilized cars. My newish car has 3 dents in it already from stupid idiots attempting to park a vehicle too big for the slot available.

Hahaha, standing at your desk, you really feel that will extend your life

Doesn't bother me too much as I have an office but the blokes I work with hate it, it's like having a meerkat next staring at your screen and watching everything you do.

Not as much as other factors.. Diet exercise etc.. I don't have a stand desk but I stand up every hour or so as I get sore from sitting

Yeh I think we all do that, it's pretty uncomfortable when someone just stands over the bloke next to him watching everything he does for 8 hours though.

Try it , next time you go out to dinner just say I think I'll stand up tonight and then just stand there for the entire time while you eat.

Pretty sure people will get a bit uncomfortable

To be honest, I'm at anytime where the grunting and posing is fairly limited compared to Lime, Golds etc. Re-racking of weights never happens, though. Doesn't matter where you go. Drives me mad.

I don't really see any of that in Club Lime in Civic.

But that's mainly because it's almost empty when I go there before work on a weekday.
