yeah it's great - as long as the only things you want to keep up to date with is who Kanye West is shagging this week and what your mate is having for dinner-GD- wrote:I use twitter, good way to keep up to date with things.

Not that the Facebook is any less ****. Seriously, 99 per cent of status updates are either about people feeling sick, feeling tired, not wanting to go to/be at work, lyrics from some terrible pop song or are directed at an ex-girlfriend/boyfriend who the author repeatedly claims to be over. It makes me want to punch an elephant.

My current physical shape
I am certainly not as strong or fit as I was when I was 25 that's for sure.

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

drivers who signal out of a roudabout (especially the real small ones) ... I know it's a road rule but it sucks big time as it serves very little purpose ... what really gets up my goat are those who signal right as they approach the roundabout and then continue through

Agree on the roundbout , fair enough indicate getting off but dont put your right blinker on and go straight through.
Also when you hit the on ramp on the M1 there are 2 things that sh*t me , the car in front sitting on 60 slowing you down trying to merge onto 110km/hr zone and cars that sit in the left lane as cars are trying to merge onto the motorway.

What's currently annoying you?
Being that busy at work and not having enough competent workers that I've now worked 20 days straight. At an average of 14hrs a day and not looking like having another day off untill I go on holidays on the 10th dec.

Re: What's currently annoying you?
Origin MASSIVELY over estimating our electricity usage!
Average bill for us = $300 - $350
We changed plan with them during the billing period, so they reckon they couldn't read exactly what our usage was at that point, so they estimated for our bill.
875 **** $'s
I rang to abuse them and they said, "it's ok, you have another meter reading scheduled for Dec 30th, I'm sure that bill will be very low, or maybe even have you in credit for overpaying on this one"
Big **** deal, that's after Christmas... I want my small bill now and the big one when i can actually bloody afford it!!!!

Ahaha.... happened to me before. The guy dead set stopped when he was in the middle of a round turning right after I honked at him, then got out of his car to threaten me and give a lecture about what he thought were the rules.Tim W wrote:Canberran's who don't indicate to turn at a round about until they are half way around then abuse you for being in the wrong...
Safe to say he backed down a bit after I also got out and he realised I was much bigger than he was.

Re: What's currently annoying you?
Went to the golf range after wok yesterday. Pulled my bag out of the boot only to have all the clubs fall out of the bottom as a massive hole has developed. Driving home from the range next to a truck on the freeway something comes flying up and cracks my windscreen. About 10 minutes down the road I hear this weird engine noise and start to lose power. Pull over and the engine has completely cooked itself. Not a good day
