I think im in love with a TV charactor. Hayley off Home and Away, i dont know whats wrong with me but when she is on the tele it feels like everything is going to be ok. I mean Bec Cartwright is hot and all but when she plays the role of Hayley i can feel an emoticon attachment, nothing else seems real?

Is this normal and what should i do about it?
Interesting.... I used to feel this way about Mary Tyler Moore about 20 years or more ago. I knew she was Mary Tyler Moore and not Mary.... but ... I dunno.... I was so confused. Plus she was a much older woman......

You are in a much bettter spot. You have Bec/Haley to think about.....

If you want some Bec Advice right to her via channel 7, prob best to get advice from the girl herself.

BTW your not the only one with the bec Problem.

Maybe a support group should be started up, one based on the AA model.

My wife has left me .... she really has ... packed up her bags and left this morning. Actually her broher picked her up to go to Wollongong, pick up their dad and take him to hospital.

I need to know how to cook baked beans or can you recommend any other meals I could cook ... note that I have never cooked a thing in my life.

Does anyone else know how to cook baked beans ... do you take it out of the can before you place it in the hot cupboard.

Bay you use the can opener on the tin of baked beans.... open the tin... put the beans in a saucepan.... put the pan on a medium heat hotplate...... stir with wooden spoon.... until heated.... do not burn.... serve on toast...

To make toast put slices of bread in the toaster.... take out the toast when it pops up.... you can butter the toast.. or leave it just like it is....

Put toast on a plate and spoon baked beans over the toast.

Ready to eat. You can use knife and fork.... or just pick up the toast with your hands and eat.....

Just finished dinner ... worst baked beans I've ever tasted and the burnt toast wasnt good either.

Still pretty eeerii greeneyed that your instructions were the same as the Lovely Mrs Bay's almost to the word.

You idiot shifty ... boil some water man, then pour the water in a mug (they are usually found in the cupboard next to the plates and other crockery) ... place the tea bag in the mug, which should now be filled with water, and either wait for 3 mins or jiggle it for about 2 mins ... take the tea bag out and give it a bit of a squeeze (over the cup) ... store the tea bag somewhere for next time ... pour some milk in the cup and add sugar if you like ... ha, thats it.

So, how can one deal with a severe lack of motivation GE? I haven't had a sick day from work in two years, but I've never put three days in a row of full lectures together in that time either. Is it time for me to cut my losses and give up on uni for a bit?

No, no-one goes to uni unless they really have to. I got my honours degree spending most of my time "studying" in front of the midday movie and repeats of Get Smart. It will be easy to pass so long as you turn up to your lectures and tutorials and do the minimum reading for every subject. Like full time lectures/tutorials are what?...... 12 hours a week? Easy to make that.
