This Friday night, the Canberra Raiders junior representative teams will be conducting trials for the Harold Matthews and SG Ball teams at Goulburn's Workers Arena. The Dragons are the opponents, with Harold Matthews to kick off at 6pm and SG Ball at 7:30pm.

The Greenhouse will be there to cover the trials! There truly is no off season at The Greenhouse!

Today we’re at Goulburn Arena for the Canberra Raiders first junior representatives trials, in preparation for the 2018 season. Our pics and video, as usual on The GH Instagram, Twitter and Facebook pages.

Kick off in Harold Matthews at 6:00pm. We will give score updates only tonight... as we have no team sheets for trials.

Dragons kick off to start the Harold Matthews trial. The Raiders have two squads, one in white, one in green... white team on first.

14 to go in the first period. TRY DRAGONS from a kick to the corner and the winger goes over. He set the play up, after taking an intercept of a wayward Raiders pass.

9 to go in the first period. Great take of a bomb to the corner from the Canberra winger, and makes good metres. Still 4-0 to the away team.

4 to go first period. TRY RAIDERS, the result of a nice offload and Canberra second rower goes over. They went 90 metres in the set, set up by a great break down the Raiders left side from the Canberra centre.

We go to a break and after 25 minutes it’s 4-4 at Goulburn.

Back underway for the next 25 minute period. Raiders kick off and the Dragons make an early error.

22 to go in the second period. TRY DRAGONS with the right winger going over in the corner. It’s off the back of a penalty, and the Raiders did not number up.

20 to go in the second period, the Raiders green team out there now. Forced into a line drop out.

17 to go in the second period. TRY DRAGONS through good, wide running. Dragons dominating this Raiders side.

15 to go in the second period. Raiders forced into another line drop out.

TRY DRAGONS, an easy one for their right centre. No contest in this period.

9 to go in the second period. TRY DRAGONS It is an opportunist try, a Raiders’ dropped ball is swooped upon and the Dragons’ player scoots away.

17 to go in the final period. TRY DRAGONS, the result of a bustling run from the second rower. The Raiders just couldn’t quite stop him.

15 to go in the first period and it’s been all the Dragons. They lead the Raiders 12-0. The latest try a long range break down the eastern touch line.

2 to go in the first period. TRY DRAGONS There’s a kick though, a loose ball and the Dragons get it down.

23 minutes to go, second period. Raiders force a line drop out. Best set for a while.

TRY RAIDERS, they finally force their way through.

19 to go second period. TRY DRAGONS They’ve got too much speed and enthusiasm for the Raiders. They go the length of the field in one set.

17 to go, second period. TRY DRAGONS They’re being allowed to run freely, great break down the Raiders’ left side again.

14 to go second period. TRY DRAGONS. Simple effort from the five eighth who steps his way through the middle. It’s off the back of an error from the Raiders.

8 to go, second period. The Raiders’ error rate is through the roof.
