Very lucky to have been in this team. Dean Blore outplayed Nick in this tournament.

Welcome to the Greenhouse Mr Blore!!!ALX22 wrote:Very lucky to have been in this team. Dean Blore outplayed Nick in this tournament.
Re: Nick Cotric selected for Australian Schoolboys
In all seriousness Cotric has been a mainstay of the Raiders under 20s all season. Not many schoolboys would have been picked in NYC round 1.
Clearly the one year less high schooling in Qld has a big effect on this team.

Re: Nick Cotric selected for Australian Schoolboys
Might be worth watching the England academy to look out for future Raiders!!!

That's very unfair. AXL22 knows his stuff.Bay53 wrote:Welcome to the Greenhouse Mr Blore!!!ALX22 wrote:Very lucky to have been in this team. Dean Blore outplayed Nick in this tournament.
Though I don't think selection should depend on one tournament. It's obvious Cotric is a major talent.

TBF Blore was selected in the team just not in the starting line-up.ALX22 wrote:Very lucky to have been in this team. Dean Blore outplayed Nick in this tournament.

Will remember next time to be a less critical and commend Nick on his selection rather then upset anyone.
Prefer to see him at centre though, and Blore at fullback.
Re: Nick Cotric selected for Australian Schoolboys
Id rather you just tell it how you see it ALX. I've not got the faintest idea of any of these guys save for Cotric and given you do, id rather know how he really stacks up against his peers rather than you sugar coat your thoughts in fear of upsetting anyone
Re: Nick Cotric selected for Australian Schoolboys
Agreed, A tongue in cheek comment from sir53 who'd be the last bloke ever to actually have a crack at anyone.Pigman wrote:Id rather you just tell it how you see it ALX. Yeah he's a good egg, I doubt there was any malice intended at all
Re: Nick Cotric selected for Australian Schoolboys
Congrats Nick - IMO if there's currently one player from our lower grades that can really make it in FG it's him.

Thanks heaps for your comments on the team. Much appreciated.ALX22 wrote:Who is out?greeneyed wrote:Canberra Raiders Daniel Keir brought into Australuan Schoolboys squad.
Obviously you know the players well and equally obviously we do not. Perhaps you could do a small article outlining the strengths etc of each player and where you think they are likely to end up?

Don't think it has to be the exact name to be part of a joke.bonehead wrote:I've just noticed that says robson not Robinson head spinning ZimALX22 wrote:Was the most influential hooker at the tournament. Good work RTW.
Re: Nick Cotric selected for Australian Schoolboys
As others have said mate, I was just having a joke. For what it is worth I think Nick is better at centre too. One of his great strengths is his big body which is more valuable at centre. Mind you up until a few weeks ago I would have said that about our first grade full back but he is fast making the position his own.ALX22 wrote:Correct.greeneyed wrote:That's very unfair. Re: Nick Cotric selected for Australian Schoolboys
Cotric a real natural rugby league player. Making a big impression in U20's despite being one of the younger squad members. Has at least another 2 years eligibility for that comp.
