Lachlan Lewis named in Queensland Academy of Sport squad
Best young talent
THE Queensland Academy of Sport has named its annual under-20s rugby league squad and it features 11 Broncos contract holders.
Former Bronco prodigy and Roosters recruit Jayden Nikorima has also been named in what is a collection of the best teenage league talent from Queensland.
Included in the squad are young Broncos who are capable of cracking first grade this year in Keegan Hipgrave, George Fai and Elijah Alick.
Wally Lewis’s nephew Lachlan has also been included.

How long before Lachlan Lewis gets homesick for his new riverfront mansion and turns up on the Broncos salary cap for 100k thereby freeing up spare funds to buy Inglis.

Don't be silly. They don't need funds to buy Inglis. Inglis will pay to play for them.Shadow Boxer wrote:How long before Lachlan Lewis gets homesick for his new riverfront mansion and turns up on the Broncos salary cap for 100k thereby freeing up spare funds to buy Inglis.
PS i think people forget that Inglis back flipped on the Broncos once. I'd laugh I'd he did it again
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

I just can't get excited about Lewis. We all know how this story ends.
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

11 is a fair chunk of a 26 man squad ( and the Cowboys have quite a few as well) Over the next couple of years a lot of these boys are going to have to move on if they want to get an opportunity in the top grade- Nikorima is a perfect example of this.
The Broncos have done the heavy lifting on junior development now is the time to attempt to attract these players.
