68th min TRY WESTS TIGERS to Marshall King. Sad for Canberra, as they have shown so much grit, guts and determination today. Woods gets the conversion.

McGrath caught out badly there. Followed the support player back inside and ignored the ball carrier.

He was marking his centre. Had to change late as McGrath left his man. A bit harsh blaming Booth.simo wrote:Whats this booth character got against tackling?

69th min Huge hit from Booth and Tatola is knocked out as a result of a head clash. Should be a Raiders scrum feed. The Wests Tigers put in a captain's challenge for the knock on. Over-ruled. Canberra scrum 20m out.

Yes really. That is exactly what happened. Not an opinion. Booth missed the tackled but had to commit too late.simo wrote:not really. When the option that had to be made was tackling the half, he went in half assed with arms not shoulder

Raiders hit back! They showed a lot more energy with the ball that set.

71st min TRY RAIDERS to Jack Williams! The kick to come! Zac Woolford misses the goal again! That's eight points missed for Canberra.

4 tries. 0 goals. Not hard to spot why we're losing.

74th min TRY WESTS TIGERS to Mapasone. Te Maire Martin threw a blatant forward pass in the previous ruck... but that looks like it now. No conversion from Woods.

Think we've seen why Raiders haven't rushed TPJ into first grade. Needs to take the brainfarts out of his game.

TBH after conceeding about 250 points in the final 6 weeks of the competition i didnt think we really deserved to be here to begin with
Re: 2015 Holden Cup: Finals Wk 1 V Wests Tigers
hes in a team where they kind of need someone to do that bit extra. Wont be expected of him in firstsNorthern Raider wrote:Think we've seen why Raiders haven't rushed TPJ into first grade. Needs to take the brainfarts out of his game.

Re: 2015 Holden Cup: Finals Wk 1 V Wests Tigers
78th min Hickson held up over the line! But the set ends with Woolford losing the ball close to the line trying to plant it.

80th min Going to video, referee says no try to Canberra under the posts. It's stripped, Lachlan Lewis dispossessed. It should be play on. Going scores. TRY CANBERRA.
Re: 2015 Holden Cup: Finals Wk 1 V Wests Tigers
80th min CONVERSION RAIDERS to Woolford from in front. Just one from five goals today.
Wests Tigers 24-22
FULL TIME
Bad luck guys, you showed a lot of guts, grit and determination today.
Thanks for following, we'll be back next week with the Canberra Raiders affiliate, Mounties, in the NSW Cup Preliminary Final.

Re: 2015 Holden Cup: Finals Wk 1 V Wests Tigers
They had a real dig today, it was one of their best efforts this year.
They probably should have played Brenko if they wanted to win, TPJ had to carry them in attack pretty much alone.

Good effort...lack of any real composure or patience in the attacking 20 cost us big time
Re: 2015 Holden Cup: Finals Wk 1 V Wests Tigers
I thought our right edge players attacked well.
