Former juniors - where they are now

Post by Travis »

I thought some might be interested in knowing where some of our former juniors have ended up.

In the QLD Cup:

Both Jonathon Rueben and Mosese Pangai are playing for Townsville (North QLD feeder side):

Daniel Beasley (c) 11. Glenn Hall 12. Rhyse Martin 13. Neville Costigan 14. Ray Thompson 15. Lorenzo Ma'afu 16. Chris McLean 17. Corey Jensen
Travis Waddell is halfback at Souths Logan:

Daniel Vidot is playing prop for Ipswich this weekend:

all from http://www.qrl.com.au/intrust-super-cup ... teams.html. You can access match stats from last round here: http://www.qrl.com.au/news/2015/03/27/p ... ound_.html - Rueben produced impressive stats.

Also, David Leapai is playing for Hervey Bay in the Bundaberg competition:
HERVEY Bay Seagulls are the only team with two wins after two rounds of the Bundaberg Broadcasters A Grade Premiership after out muscling hosts and fellow first-up victors Wallaroos at Eskdale Park, Maryborough on Saturday night... Five-eighth and club junior product David Leapai, who has also played in the Intrust Super Cup for Northern Pride and was signed by Melbourne Storm in 2013, also dazzled in tandem with his halves partner and former Bundaberg A Grade Player of the Year Clinton Horne, who has returned home, and they repeatedly unleashed their lethal back-line.
