Unbeleivable we weren't further back for that dropout.
Always Green!
Re: 2014 Holden Cup : Rd 16 V Wests Tigers
50th min Raiders force Wests Tigers into a line drop out... and it has travelled 75 metres in the end. And now Doyle Manga loses it again in the tackle. He makes some big runs, but it's been a very mixed debut for him. Canberra is challenging the call. DECISION STANDS.
Re: 2014 Holden Cup : Rd 16 V Wests Tigers
51st min TRY WESTS TIGERS to winger John Tohi in the corner. Canberra cannot defend the Doyle Manga error. Woods conversion attempt is a shocker.

54th min TRY WESTS TIGERS to John Ogden, some stunning passes in the lead up. No stopping the momentum at present. Woods converts.

Re: 2014 Holden Cup : Rd 16 V Wests Tigers
57th min Frawley stops a certain try, intercepts a Cherrington pass. Now the Raiders throw away an opportunity, Jono Kent cannot take the pass.
Re: 2014 Holden Cup : Rd 16 V Wests Tigers
59th min TRY RAIDERS to Jack Creith. Wests Tigers are challenging, saying there's been a Canberra knock on in the lead up from Hefernan. Very hard to tell if he has. The Tigers certainly knock on, and it goes into the hands of Creith. But does Hefernan knock on first? They have looked at it a million times. DECISION OVERTURNED. NO TRY.

Knock on imo
Re: 2014 Holden Cup : Rd 16 V Wests Tigers
60th min Lachlan Lewis knocks on 20m out from the Raiders own line. Fortunately Cherrington knocks on at dummy half on the last tackle for the Tigers, just 5m out.

We need to sign Cherrington
Re: 2014 Holden Cup : Rd 16 V Wests Tigers
67th min TRY WESTS TIGERS to Te Maire Martin under the posts. That's the end of the day for Canberra.

Would like to see it blow up
Well, at least Jack got paid.
Re: 2014 Holden Cup : Rd 16 V Wests Tigers
70th min There's a dust up, started by some pushing from Cherrington. The Raiders' Ezra Howe has been sin binned for "running in". The Wests Tigers juniors really ought to be taught some more sportsmanship. It's clearly not part of the program there. They're a very niggly team.
TRY WESTS TIGERS to Daniel Rakvin off the back of another penalty, for a hand on the ball. Converted.

Re: 2014 Holden Cup : Rd 16 V Wests Tigers
That's pretty pathetic.... The entire Tigers team runs in, gets a warning, one Raiders player runs in, 10 minutes in the bin..... The solution is apparently to use the entire team...
Also pretty harsh a call with that intercept try being overturned.... There was hardly any evidence that he knocked it forward.... The Under 20's team has been really **** over this year....

20 threw a punch therefore bin
Re: 2014 Holden Cup : Rd 16 V Wests Tigers
Young Frawley looks a good prospect. The Raiders site has him listed as a hooker. He is a local boy which takes homesickness out of the equation, and is attending uni, so likely has some brains.

75th min TRY WESTS TIGERS to Hala Masila. The Raiders cannot hold this big Wests Tigers team with a man in the bin. He scores close to the posts.

Man that defence is soft.... They must be training with the first grade side....

MATCH REPORT: Tigers blow Raiders away in second half
The Canberra Raiders NYC team has been blown away by the West Tigers 46-16 following a dominant second half display from the Wests Tigers.
The Tigers outscored the Raiders five tries to one with the breeze at their backs in the second half, it was the Raiders inability to take chances inside the Tigers’ half which took away any chance of a fight back with errors riddling Canberra’s play.
It was never going to be an easy game for the Raiders but 57% possession enjoyed from the Tigers and 37 missed tackles all but killed off any chance of a Raiders victory.
Frawley was consistent for the Raiders with limited possessions, but errors in the Tigers defensive half cost the Raiders who were unable to get anything going in the second half.
Next week the Raiders have the bye and will have plenty of time to think about this loss before travelling to the Gold Coast to take on the Titans.
Wests Tigers 46
Tries: Martin 3, Farrell, Tohi, Ogden, Rakvin, Masila; Woods 7 goals
Canberra Raiders 16
Tries: Hurst 2, Frawley; Doyle 2 goals
