NYC Match Preview: Raiders v Bulldogs

The Canberra Raiders NYC team will return off a bye to face a lowly ranked Canterbury Bulldogs side on Friday. The Canberra side will be without their U18 Orgin rep halves Lachlan Lewis and Lachlan Croker, who be rested by coach Mick Mantelli.

However the side will be bolstered by the return of Andrew Heffernan from a long term ankle injury, and he will be partnered in the halves with Matthew Frawley who moves back into the half back position.

Normally a 34-6 scoreline would put the game in the bag. In U20s its still anybody's game.

16 to go. Canberra's defence has become very loose. Dogs held out, 10m from the line.

14 to go Canberra is forced into a line drop out. The Raiders are fading badly. The referee is not helping. Every decision is going the way of the Dogs.

11 to go Bulldogs pick a player up off the ground and take him over the sideline. No call of held, gives the Dogs another chance in the red zone. The set fortunately ends with a Bulldogs error right near the try line.

There's almost a rule at U20s that the scores have to level out :(

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

DFJ get a long term contract signed by Barnett. I know U/20s isn't FG, but fearless performance week in week out, should be rewarded.
