NYC Match Preview: Raiders v Storm

The Canberra Raiders NYC team will look to get their season back on track when they face the Melbourne Storm this Sunday at GIO Stadium.

“We just have to go back to the basics, there’s no special fixes at the moment, and we’re all in this together so we just need to pull together, work hard and go from there,” coach Mick Mantelli said

The team will also be without Tevita Pangai Junior this week, who has been suspended for two weeks following a late shoulder charge in the Knights game.

“I spoke to Tevita this week, and he realises what he did was wrong. Nothing came out of it so I couldn’t see the point in him doing it. Sometimes I forget how young he is, but I said to him we’ve just got to stick together and work at it and we will come out the other side a lot better for it.”

Bateman has played plenty of prop coming through the grades, I don't think he'll change the way he plays at all. If it means Scott Doyle gets a consistent spot in the team I'm all for it.
