Has Reuben definitely signed with the Roosters?

I know you shouldnt spend too much on a winger but geez Reuben has a Noa Nandruku style X-Faxtor about him.

Surely with Fergo's money we can use it to keep Reuben.

Thanks for the updates guys, couldn't watch the game. Well done to the club for winning the minor premiership. Definitely the highlight of the year.

Hopefully we can find the extra cash for Reuben.

MATCH REPORT: Holden Cup Canberra Raiders secure minor premiership

The Canberra Raiders’ Holden Cup side have secured the Minor Premiership in the National Youth Competition after a hard-fought victory over the fifth placed New Zealand Warriors at Mt Smart Stadium.

With both teams certain to feature in this year’s semi-finals the match was a thoroughly high class encounter.
New Zealand made the Raiders work hard to secure victory and the Green Machine didn’t seal the win until the 79th minute.

Canberra’s forwards battled hard against a monster Warriors pack however it was the Raiders outside backs that allowed the team from the Nation’s Capital.

The Raiders dynamic centres pairing of Brenko Lee and Andrew Heffernan registered doubles while winger Jonathon Reuben portrayed exactly why he was named in the Holden Cup Team of the Year after a breathtaking 90 metre try in the final minute of the match.

Best win of the year I thought. Actually showed a bit of resolve in defence for once.Good to see a 26-16 scoreline instead of the usual 50-30 stuff we've been dishing up recently we get our defence right we'll win the comp.

Rocketing Reuben helps young Raiders to minor premiership

LIGHTNING quick winger Jonathon Reuben showed the Canberra Raiders what they will be missing next season as he led the Green Machine to the Holden Cup under-20s minor premiership.

Reuben, who is poised to join the Sydney Roosters, played a hand in two match-sealing tries in Saturday's 26-16 win over the New Zealand Warriors at Mt Smart Stadium.

The Raiders have wrapped up top spot with a round to spare, although they rested three of their stars.

Impressed with the defensive effort for the most part. Much improved from basically the previous 24 rounds

The Dogs and the Panthers are the danger teams, I'd much rather avoid them if possible.
