That scoreline had nothing to do with rule changes. It was all about the Cowboys woeful defense

You don’t need to feel bad. You’re not cheering for the Sharks, you’re deathriding the Panthers Image

Super talented player, hell of a ball runner... his ball playing and general halves play has a looooong way to go
I think he's a good bet to get there, i dont bet against talent. But he needs time as a half.

He'll be a star for his running and kicking alone... if he can add ballplaying he'll evolve to superstar

It's real odd that people want to gamble when this guy is off contract and winning games for his first grade side now. He'd be the perfect 2 year deal with a young half underneath him. Just as long as he's not asking for 800k.

I can totally get why a top tier team would pass on SJ. But we are not a top tier team at the moment. I'm not sure some people understand that, likely stuck in 2019

Well there was talk of 900k at some stage.. now I'm not at all saying that is his asking price to come to the Raiders, but that is the ballpark he is talking himself up to in recent months.

Johnson has come out and said not to believe the rumours especially about the $ he is after. Reckon youd be a good shot at 600-650k and i think thats less than what williams was on next year

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Cummins just gives the roosters a penalty on the last tackle... I don't know what for. I rewound it twice and couldn't see anything. He's indicating a stripping motion but there's nothing there. Next minute roosters score.

Worst **** ref in the game. He destroys the game every week.

Great game. Roosters winning actually suits us as we are competing against the likes of GC for the 8. Manu is a beast, Sam Walker has composure, unlike Fogarty.

Haha, not sure about that but he missed a relatively easy kick that hit the post earlier in the game, and Jarrod Wallace had them in a good position for a field goal. Halves need composure and he didn't know what to do, hence the drop.

From my memory of the game it wasn't a great play from Peachey (?). I could be wrong but I thought it was the fourth tackle and Fogarty dropped it because he wasn't expecting it, because he was setting up for the field goal. So Peachey ducks out of dummy half but then decided to pass it to their designated kicker, at the line. Either pass it straight from dummy half or not at all.

Edit... it will largely be ignored because it's the Titans but the roosters don't get that double movement try they potentially lose that game.

C'mon that's a terrible call. Laurie wasn't playing at the ball and Opacic just dropped it as soon as it was touched. You wouldn't know that Perenara actually played the game at NRL level.

Shaun Lane contesting the ball? He got himself into a position to catch the ball and then looks away and pulls his hands away from the contest. That's not contesting the ball.
